‘Days Of Our Lives’: Hope Brady’s Prison Sentence Worst Possible Outcome, Galen Gering Talks Hope And Rafe In ‘DOOL’ [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) will be found guilty of killing Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). She has a trial coming up, and the sentence will shock everyone. Recently, actor Galen Gering, who plays Rafe Hernandez on the soap opera talked about the storyline.

DOOL spoilers are ahead. If you don’t want to know what to expect on the long-running soap opera, then stop reading.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Hope Brady‘s prison sentence will surprise everyone. Even though Kristian Alfonso’s character on Days Of Our Lives is going behind bars, Hope is still going to be seen on television screens. Executive producer Ken Corday said the soap opera would become Orange Is The New Days for a while. He added that Hope would see a few familiar faces while incarcerated. On the outside, people will be working hard to try to get Hope released from prison.

In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, Galen Gering spoke about the storyline and what to expect. The night before sentencing, Hope and Rafe spend time together. It hurts him that Hope imagines spending years behind bars. Rafe tries to keep her spirits up and encourages her to think positive. However, nobody will expect what the judge decides.

In court, Hope Brady’s loved ones gather to give her support, including her son, Shawn Brady. Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Hope doesn’t give excuses or ask for leniency for herself. She only asks that the judge considers her children, Galen Gering explained.

“It shows Hope’s humanity. She’s not thinking about herself; everything she says is about her family.”

The prosecution is asking that Hope receives a harsh sentence. This is really hard on Rafe Hernandez because he knows how brutal the justice system can be. Gering said the Days Of Our Lives character feels that over the years, the courts were tainted by the DiMera family buying everyone off. Once Hope Brady’s prison sentence is announced, Rafe is shocked. The actor said it is the “worst possible outcome.”

“Rafe has been trying to do all this stuff for Hope, so he feels like a failure. He also thinks he is partly responsible. He’s been telling Hope all this positive stuff, how everything was going to work out and that they’ll find a way through this. Now, all of a sudden, here’s this depressing, super-heavy reality thrust upon them. Considering the reality, it’s really tough for Rafe to stay upbeat and positive.”

Other Days Of Our Lives spoilers include Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) being rushed to the hospital on Monday. There won’t be a chance for Kim (Patsy Pease) and Shane (Charles Shaughnessy) to do anything to change Theresa’s mind. Soon, Theresa will leave town, abandoning Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and baby Tate.

Also, Abigail Devereaux DiMera (Marci Miller) has returned to Salem. So far, nobody knows she is around. However, Abby has been spying on Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus), JJ Devereaux (Casey Moss), and Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). It will be interesting to see how everyone reacts to Abigail returning to Days Of Our Lives.

What do you think of what Galen Gering had to say about Rafe and Hope on DOOL? How will everyone help Hope Brady once she is sent to prison? What familiar faces will she see behind bars and will the experience change her? How long will she be in prison for and could somebody find a way to get her released? Keeping watching the NBC soap opera to find out what happens next.

Days Of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC.
