Brittany Cartwright Weight Gain? ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Jax Taylor Puts Haters On Notice After They Body Shame His Girlfriend

Brittany Cartwright is being scrutinized after the Vanderpump Rules Season 5 premiere, but her boy Jax has her back. Cartwright, who has been in a serious relationship with Vanderpump Rules star Jax Taylor for nearly two years, was the victim of online bullying after the Season 5 premiere of the Bravo reality series showed her with a slightly curvier figure than last season.

Cartwright’s boyfriend took to Instagram to give haters a firm warning that he has a zero tolerance policy when it comes to bullying and body shaming.

“Negative comments about myself or the cast, I don’t care, you have NO life and are looking for attention,” Taylor wrote. “BUT… Bullying, body shaming will not be tolerated.”

Brittany’s beau went on to threaten haters by telling them he will block anyone who body-shames his girl and will even have their accounts shut down.

“I will block you and blast your comments and have your account shut down, my friends work at Instagram and our huge fans of our show,” Jax wrote. “So, please….TRY ME!!! You have been warned.”

Brittany Cartwright also took to Twitter to call out the cowardly internet trolls.

Taylor’s angry tirade comes after Brittany’s Vanderpump Rules Season 5 debut had her embroiled in a bizarre storyline in which her boyfriend claimed she hooked up with co-star Kristen Doute. Brittany denied the story on camera, but some fans noted that Cartwright had put on a few pounds since they saw her on Season 4 of the Bravo reality show, and they took to social media to rip her.

Brittany is still not a heavy girl by any means, and she has even been vocal in the past about her breast enlargement surgery. Jax paid for Brittany’s breast implants after convincing her to go for a full D cup last year.

Vanderpump Rules fans have seen many women come in and out of Jax’s life, but he seems to have finally found his match with Brittany Cartwright. The SUR bartender has described Brittany as “the best thing” that has ever happened to him, so it’s no wonder he was so passionate about defending her against online bullies.

Jax Taylor isn’t the only person defending Brittany Cartwright this week. Brittany’s SUR boss, Lisa Vanderpump, told Entertainment Weekly that she doesn’t believe the story that Cartwright and Doute hooked up, and she also defended her decision to hire Brittany after originally saying the former Hooters waitress wasn’t right for her high-end restaurant when she showed up wearing a skimpy romper for her interview.

“She became part of the show and obviously it’s great for the restaurant to have people that legitimately need to work, and she really wanted to work,” Vanderpump said of Cartwright.

“We were a couple of waitresses down, and I thought, ‘Why not give her a shot?’ She’s actually fantastic. She really is there four or five nights a week. She’s lovely – I have never met a girl like her. I don’t know if it’s where she’s from, but [everything is absolutely so nice!”

While Brittany Cartwright was body-shamed by internet bullies after the Vanderpump Rules premiere aired, her co-star, Katie Maloney, was actually slammed during the show. Cast members James Kennedy and Lala Kent made fun of Maloney’s body during the premiere episode. Kennedy mocked the bride-to-be for not working on her “summer body,” and he rudely asked her if she was pregnant, while Kent described her nemesis as a “blob.”
