Vicki Gunvalson Slammed For Spreading Abuse Rumors: Did She Forget Brooks’ Abuse Allegations?

Vicki Gunvalson can’t seem to escape the Brooks Ayers drama, even though it has been over a year since the drama played out on The Real Housewives of Orange County. After last season had ended, Gunvalson broke up with Brooks, and she started a new life where she wanted to clear her name completely. One of the things that surfaced after they broke up was abuse allegations. Some of Gunvalson’s co-stars revealed that they had seen his violent behavior and Gunvalson’s own daughter claimed that she had seen him push Vicki up against a wall. So when Vicki kept spreading rumors about Shannon Beador’s supposed abusive husband, people were confused.

According to a new tweet, Vicki Gunvalson is now defending her decision to talk about Shannon’s husband and the abuse allegations that have surfaced over the past couple of weeks. Beador keeps denying that her husband has been violent with her, but there is a police report from 2003. But fans aren’t happy that Vicki Gunvalson is spreading the story, especially considering what she’s been through herself and what she’s been through with her daughter.

“You are a miserable person, spreading rumors just to make yourself look good? Guess what! Everyone knows it,” one person wrote to Vicki after watching this season of The Real Housewives of Orange County, to which Vicki replied, “Actually it was NOT to make me look good and it wasn’t about me at all! I don’t tolerate abuse nor should any woman!”

A few years ago, Briana revealed that Brooks Ayers had been caught on tape, saying that he hits women to keep them in line. Brooks encouraged Ryan to start hitting Briana to keep her in check, but Ryan didn’t take him seriously. Instead, they played the tape for Vicki Gunvalson, who just ignored this information. And fans don’t understand why Gunvalson would spread rumors about abuse, when her ex-boyfriend encouraged violence to keep her own daughter in check a few years ago.

“U didn’t care when Brooks told Ryan 2 beat Brianna. You had no problem with it. You are a liar and a huge hypocrite,” one person wrote to Vicki Gunvalson, who then took a stance against the abuse, writing back, “Of course I had a huge problem with that!! Major difference was he didn’t, &the other guy did!! #Facts #AbuseIsAbuse.”

It sounds like Gunvalson is now saying that she did have a huge problem with her ex-boyfriend encouraging violence to keep her daughter in line, but she didn’t express this on The Real Housewives of Orange County. Instead, she seemed rather confused as if she didn’t want to believe that her boyfriend could do such a thing. These days, Gunvalson wants people to know that she’s against violence and she would never encourage a man to hit a woman to keep her in line. If she really did think that abuse is so horrible, why would she spread stories about Shannon?

“Ryan never beat Brianna! The issue is Brooks told Ryan to beat Brianna & Vicki still stayed with him. U accused Brianna of lying, u didn’t even believe her. Brooks shook u so hard your head was swinging back & forth That’s abuse, Vicki. It’s a lie to say u don’t tolerate abuse because the truth is you did tolerate it & there weren’t children involve. Leave SB alone,” one of Gunvalson’s fans wrote back to both Vicki and her followers, explaining that it was wrong for Vicki to question her daughter’s abuse stories.

What do you think of Vicki Gunvalson talking about Shannon Beador’s marriage and her supposedly abusive husband when Vicki herself was dating a man last year, who encouraged violence against her own daughter?
