Melissa Gorga Called Out By Kim D: Did She Try To Sabotage A Competing Business To Market Envy?

Melissa Gorga revealed that she was very excited to open up her own fashion boutique in New Jersey on the previous season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, and fans thought that she would get her husband to pay for the entire thing. But on this season of the show, fans learned that Melissa put in some long hours, and her husband was starting to get stressed out. He had to take care of their three children while running his business. And while Melissa says that her business is thriving, one person in New Jersey isn’t too happy about Melissa’s business activities.

According to a new Instagram post, Melissa Gorga is now being blamed for trying to bring down Kim DePaola’s fashion boutique. Of course, Gorga isn’t the first person in the Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise to start a fashion boutique, and she probably won’t be the last. And while Gorga hasn’t talked about Kim D’s fashion store in relation to her own, Kim is now breaking her silence after watching the first part of the reunion special this weekend. And she wants people to know that Gorga supposedly told the ladies to stop filming with her and visiting Kim’s store.

“Melissa absolutely told the girls and many other people not to shop or film my store or fashion show!! I was on the show before her and my store and fashion shows!! Not Kool to try and sabotage another woman’s lively hood!! And btw, Teresa you did call me after your fight with Jacqueline at her house and asked if I would come on and film with you and say Jacqueline knew about strippergate!! I declined!! Stop the lies!! And the sabotage!! I guess both of you are not the big shots you think you are!! They did film my new store Posche by Kim D and my fashion show! Try harder next time!” Kim DePaola wrote on her Instagram account after watching the first installment of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion.

Of course, Kim does have a point in her post. Her store and her fashion shows have been a part of the Real Housewives of New Jersey franchise since the beginning — long before Melissa Gorga joined the show. Her fashion shows have been a huge platform for drama over the years, so much so that some of the ladies refused to attend them.

It was Kim’s fashion show where Melissa Gorga was labeled a stripper and set up by some of her co-stars. Would Gorga tell her co-stars to stop shopping and engaging with Kim so people could come hang out at her store instead? While Melissa may never admit to it on cameras, she may have said it in a joking way. It’s no secret that she doesn’t like the friend of the wives.

While Melissa Gorga wasn’t exactly confronted on the reunion special, DePaola really enjoyed watching the reunion special, because she felt that the truth was starting to come out. And she shared her thoughts about her truth being shared on the show. Even though she’s not a full-time housewife, she sure knows how to start the drama and stir the pot.

“Sentiments right about now!!!! Start squirming it’s all coming out soon!!! #Reunion #RHONJ,” Kim wrote in another Instagram post, sharing the quote, “Talking sh*t behind my back only proves that you’re a coward who fears my presence enough to know better than to talk shit to my face.”
