‘Clueless’ Actress Elisa Donovan Gets Hitched

While everyone was gearing up for Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s nuptials, another celebrity, Clueless star Elisa Donovan, was already celebrating her recent wedding to Charlie Bigelow. Donovan got hitched to her boyfriend last Saturday in Carmel, California.

Elisa Donovan certainly wasn’t ultra private like the Timberlakes; in fact, Donovan and her new husband released a statement via PEOPLE about their happiness as a married couple, “After meeting three years ago in Sayulita, Mexico while vacationing with friends, we are thrilled to report that we were married on Oct. 13. We credit Charlie’s friend Owen for waving Elisa in from the beach in what would be the moment that changed our lives.”

The Clueless star, who recently joined her cast mates from the hit film as part of the Entertainment Weekly reunion edition, was walked down the aisle by her brother Marc. Donovan admitted to PEOPLE that she “cried through” the ceremony but did have enough time to dry her eyes with her hankie, which belonged to her late father. The vows featured a reading from Rumi, and the ceremony ended with wine, as husband-to-be Bigelow took an extra swig of for luck.

The wedding between Elisa Donovan and Charlie Bigelow was modest, with only 150 guests attending the ceremony. Of those guests, True Blood’s Sam Trammell attended with his longtime girlfriend Missy Yager and Bruce Ferber, who was the executive producer of Donovan’s sitcom Sabrina, the Teenage Witch also attended. The couple were also joined by their infant daughter Scarlett Avery as well.
