Kanye West Spends A Fortune On Furniture, Decides He Hates It And Throws It Out

Eccentric rapper Kanye West spent a ton of money on furniture, decided he did not like it, and threw it into storage, the Daily Mail is reporting.

The 39-year-old rapper had ordered pricey furniture, including a $30,000 couch, from interior designer Sandy Gallin for the Calabasas California home he shares with wife Kim Kardashian and their two kids.

According to a source, when Kanye saw the furniture, he disliked it at once and asked for it to be taken back. When the vendor refused to take it back, he threw it all out and gave the home furnishing project to another interior designer, Axel Vervoordt.

A source revealed that Kim was not happy with her fussy husband, who continues to expand an already bloated tab and dilly-dally on a house that should have been furnished eons ago. The source said Kim was looking to settle down quickly in the house, especially after the October 3 jewelry heist in Paris that left her an emotional wreck.

“Kanye spends so much money and he’s holding everything up. Kim just wants to be settled at home especially after everything that happened in Paris.”

The source said there was the likelihood that the robbery and Kanye’s poorly received Yeezy Season 4 fashion show in September was contributing to his bad temper. The egocentric rapper, who compared himself to Walt Disney and Steve Jobs in August, is also said to be notorious when it comes to frustrating his associates in fashion circles.

“Everyone in the fashion business thinks he’s crazy. He’ll start taking advice from someone successful, stop listening 15 minutes later and then move on to someone else… he constantly fights with everyone — he’s even fighting with Adidas.”

An alternative source has debunked the notion that the College Dropout star who seems to be in a never-ending feud with Taylor Swift is not liked in the fashion industry. According to a different source, a slew of bitter fashion writers are simply peddling rumors to discredit him. The source alleges that West has the full respect of heavyweights in the industry, including designer Riccardo Tisci and Vogue’s Anna Wintour.

“To say the fashion industry hates him is totally false. His friends in fashion include the most influential powerful people in the business.”

Recently, the proud and opinionated artist who is never far from controversy reached out to Ikea. The Life of Pablo rapper had said that he wanted to help the furniture making giant with minimalist designs for university dorm student rooms.

“I have to work with Ikea — make furniture for interior design, for architecture. I know that if I do a minimalist apartment inside a college dorm where the TV goes on the side of the wall… Yo Ikea, allow Kanye to create, allow him to make this thing.”

In a social media post, the Swedish furniture makers cheekily replied that they would welcome any designs he had in a bid to make him famous, a reference to a controversial song where he called Swift the B-word.

“Hej we’d love to see what you’d create…we could make you Famous.”

According to Us Magazine, earlier this month, the 39-year-old rapper stopped his California concert 45 minutes in because he had lost his voice. He was singing “Only One” on an elevated platform when he made the announcement to plenty of boos from the fans.

“Turn on the lights, show’s over. I’m so hoarse. I can’t finish the show. I can’t let y’all have a show where I can’t perform for you. I’ll give everyone a refund… I’ll do better next time.”

It was a packed arena, and the sixth and final performance in the “Saint Pablo Tour” set. Celebrities like Ariel Winter, Lenny Kravitz, Usher, and Harry Styles were in attendance.
