Will Gwen Stefani And Blake Shelton Get Married Before Reuniting On ‘The Voice’ Season 12?

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will soon reunite on The Voice for Season 12, but will they first get married?

For months, rumors have been swirling in regard to when and where Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton will tie the knot. Despite the fact that no engagement announcement has been made, these rumors have been ongoing and in the latest report, it is stated that the musical couple is currently finalizing their plans to wed.

On November 5, the Daily Mail revealed that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton were planning to get married before the end of the year. Days prior, Us Weekly offer fans an update on the couple’s allegedly impending wedding.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are “starting to finalize” their wedding arrangements, a source close to the couple revealed to the magazine. “They’ve met with vendors.”

Gwen Stefani is mom to three children, Kingston, 10, Zuma, 8, and Apollo, 2, from her past marriage to Gavin Rossdale. Meanwhile, Shelton doesn’t yet have any children of his own, despite his past marriages to Miranda Lambert and Kaynette Williams.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton hope to marry “before the end of the year,” the magazine’s source continued.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton began dating one another at the end of last year after Shelton split from Lambert in July and Stefani split from Rossdale in August. At the time, both Stefani and Shelton were starring alongside one another on The Voice Season 9.

Earlier this month, during an interview with Glamour magazine, Gwen Stefani opened up about her failed marriage to Rossdale and her relationship with Shelton.

“The intention of being married is the vow, right?” Gwen Stefani said during the interview, revealing her parents recently celebrated their 50th anniversary. “You want to put everything into it to make it a success.”

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale were married for 13 years before their divorce was announced last summer. Months later, Gwen Stefani found a friend in Shelton and a romance bloomed between them a short time later.

“He was a friend when I needed a friend,” Gwen Stefani gushed. “An unexpected gift.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton went public with their relationship on November 4 of last year at an after party for the Country Music Awards. Then, in the weeks that followed, their romance was chronicled on The Voice Season 9.

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton haven’t starred together on The Voice since Season 9, but they have been spending tons of time together in recent months. During Gwen Stefani’s This is What the Truth Feels Like Tour, Shelton made a number of appearances alongside his girlfriend and was often seen joining her on stage to sing their duet, “Go Ahead and Break My Heart.”

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton also sang their duet on an episode of The Voice Season 10.

In other Gwen Stefani news, the singer is set to return to The Voice for Season 12 in early 2017. Although Miley Cyrus and Alicia Keys were brought to the show for Season 11 after Christina Aguilera’s Season 10 appearance, NBC confirmed the return of Stefani earlier this month and a short time later, Cyrus revealed she would be appearing on the show’s 13 season.

When Gwen Stefani returns to the show, she will be joined by boyfriend Shelton and returning judges Adam Levine and Alicia Keys.

The Voice Season 11 is currently airing on Monday and Tuesday’s at 8 p.m. on NBC. The series will return to NBC for Season 12 on Monday, February 27.
