Miley Cyrus Admits She Can’t Get Enough Of ‘Honey Boo Boo’ [Video]

Miley Cyrus admitted that she just can’t get enough of watching Honey Boo Boo during a Thursday appearance on Chelsea Lately. The 19-year-old singer dished about her fascination with the reality show’s star, Alana Thompson, as well as her guest appearance on Two and a Half Men during the interview segment.

Chelsea Handler sat eagerly by as Cyrus talked about putting subwoofers in her home stereo system because it wasn’t quite loud enough to enjoy her favorite reality show. Miley noted that when she watches Here Comes Honey Boo Boo and the show’s star says “holla for a dolla,” the whole house now shakes, courtesy of the sound system upgrade.

The pop star also noted that she loosely modeled her Two and a Half Men persona after Alana Thompson, Gossip Center reports.

The Last Song star had this to say about her fascination with Here Comes Honey Boo Boo:

“Liam [Hemsworth] won’t watch it. I just sit around and like, watch it. She’s like trying all of the Rapunzel wigs, it is so funny.”

Miley and Alana were both born in the South, so perhaps watching the show gives her a little taste of home. The redneck stereotypes portrayed on the show are offensive to some who live either in the South or rural areas around the United States. During the Chelsea Lately segment, Handler brings out a very large man dressed in a Honey Boo Boo style get-up who shouts, “a dolla makes me holla” to the giggling delight of the pop star.

Community star, Joel McHale, also admitted his obsession with Honey Boo Boo during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel LIVE! on Thursday. He was visibly thrilled to be sitting in the same seat that Thompson had used during her Kimmel interview several days prior, according to the New York Post.
