Gwen Stefani Defends Blake Shelton After Adam Levine Insults Him, Gwen And Blake Finalize Wedding Plans
Gwen Stefani is reportedly going to marry Blake Shelton soon, and she’s not tolerating any hate toward her future husband. She recently proved this when Adam Levine insulted Blake.
As the International Business Times reports, The Voice Live Playoffs are kicking off during tonight’s episode. The competition is really heating up on the NBC reality show, and Adam Levine is so desperate to win that he wants to go back in time and knock out fellow coach Blake Shelton. On Sunday, Levine took to Twitter to let the world know just how badly he wants to smack Gwen Stefani’s cowboy boyfriend in the face.

Luckily, Adam doesn’t have access to a time machine, and he was likely joking about wanting to take a whack at a bespectacled Blake Shelton. However, Gwen Stefani still wasn’t happy with Adam for taking a dig at young Blake’s appearance by suggesting that he had a punchable face as a child. Gwen responded to Adam Levine’s violent reaction to the throwback photo by informing the Maroon 5 frontman that he has no idea what he’s talking about. She also used an emoji to let Adam known that she’s angry at him for being so mean.

It looks like Adam better watch his back when Gwen Stefani returns to The Voice coaching panel during Season 12 of the show. She reportedly can’t wait to work with Blake again, and the lovebirds are so smitten that they may find it hard to compete against one another. Perhaps Gwen and Blake will team up to take down their fellow coaches instead of acting like rivals.
“Gwen wants to come back to the show to be with Blake more,” a show insider told Us Weekly. “He can’t stop gushing about her.”
The couple may be busy with The Voice for the next few months, but they’re reportedly making time to plan a wedding. According to Us Weekly, a source close to the couple recently revealed that Stefani and Shelton are “starting to finalize” their wedding plans.
“They’ve met with vendors,” the insider dished.
Gwen Stefani reportedly wants to be a married woman before the end of the year. However, she and Blake haven’t even confirmed that they’re engaged yet.
Back in August, Life & Style reported that Gwen and Blake are planning a December wedding. According to another alleged insider, they’ve decided to have the wedding at Blake’s sprawling ranch in Oklahoma because the secluded property will provide them with plenty of privacy. Gwen Stefani’s three sons from her marriage to rocker Gavin Rossdale — Kingston, 10, Zuma, and Apollo, 2 — will reportedly take part in the ceremony. As the Inquisitr previously reported, Blake’s ranch has become a familiar place to the boys, and they love spending time there.
“Apollo wants to be the ring bearer, and the two older boys will be junior groomsmen with Blake. Blake wants it to be really special, to show them coming together as a family.”
When Gwen Stefani and her cowboy do get hitched, Gwen is going to do everything she can to make sure that their union is a successful one. Gavin Rossdale’s infidelity made it impossible for her to salvage her first marriage, but she recently told Glamour that she took her marriage vows very seriously and worked “really hard” at making things work.
“[Marriage] was the one thing I didn’t want to fail at,” Gwen said. “People can say whatever they want to about me…and I don’t get too affected. But I didn’t want them to think I was a failure.”
If Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton really are going to get married in the near future, Adam Levine had better get his act together; he may not get a wedding invitation if he doesn’t stop picking on Blake.
