Miley Cyrus Is Feuding With Gwen Stefani Ahead Of Her Return To ‘The Voice’?

Miley Cyrus joined the cast of The Voice earlier this year for Season 11, but after wrapping production on the series later this year, she will be replaced by Gwen Stefani.

Although Miley Cyrus has already been confirmed as a Season 13 coach of the season, a new rumor claims the singer is feuding with Stefani and her boyfriend and co-star, Blake Shelton, who reportedly want Cyrus off of the show.

“Gwen doesn’t want to share the pop-music spotlight with [Miley Cyrus]. But it’s mostly because she and Blake see this as their show — they fell in love on the set, and they want to keep working together,” said an OK! Magazine insider, according to a report by Sportsrageous on November 6. “They’re both dropping hints to the producers about how much happier they’d be without Miley in the mix. It’s obnoxious, but they’re only thinking of themselves right now.”

Earlier this year, when Miley Cyrus was first confirmed as a Season 11 coach, rumors claiming she was feuding with Adam Levine began swirling. In one particular report shared by Radar Online in April, a source claimed Levine was not happy with his co-star and found her to be loud-mouth and annoying. The same report claimed it was Christina Aguilera who initially enlisted Miley Cyrus for the show.

According to the report, Aguilera was at odds with Shelton during Season 10 and felt that if she could find someone to permanently replace Stefani on The Voice, it would be the ultimate revenge. Unfortunately for the singer, her alleged plan to have Stefani replaced may have backfired as she is now unconfirmed for a future return to the series.

“Adam and [Miley Cyrus] were non-stop bickering during their last taping together,” the insider said at the time. “He nitpicks almost every single thing she says. Adam seems to find Miley to be extremely loud-mouthed and absolutely annoying!”

As for the tension between Aguilera and Shelton, the source explained, “Blake hates the fact that Gwen is no longer with him in the judges’ chairs this season. Everyone knows this and he is taking it out on Christina, and they are not getting along at all.”

While Miley Cyrus and Adam Levine never confirmed a feud between them, nor did they speak of the rumors regarding the show’s casting, reports have continued to swirl about their potential behind-the-scenes feud.

Just months ago, an Ok! Magazine report claimed Miley Cyrus was dealing with such drama on the set of The Voice that she was actually considering quitting the show.

Miley Cyrus has “been in tears” during filming because Levine constantly picks on her and even recruited Shelton to help him “gang up” on Cyrus, a source revealed, adding that Miley Cyrus and Levine have been at one another’s throats since filming began.

After Stefani was confirmed for the Season 12 panel of the show, Miley Cyrus took to Twitter where she revealed she would be taking part in the 13th season of the series with a photo of herself in her coaching chair. Right away, the official Twitter account of The Voice expressed their excitement, as did many fans.

Throughout the 11th season of The Voice, Miley Cyrus has been extremely active on Twitter and often tweets of her excitement about her impressive team of singers and her team steals.
