Kris Jenner’s birthday celebration with the Kardashians was the climax of a week that has seen the Kardashians treat the public to two epic celebrations. It all started with Kendall Jenner’s 21st birthday early in the week, as the young model celebrated her big day in a star-studded event graced by the who and who in Hollywood.
However, it appears the famous momager has also not lost her spark when it comes to living life in the spotlight, given the kind of A-List celebrities who graced her party as others sent her warm wishes.
Even before the dust settled on Kendall’s birthday party, it was the turn for the elder Kardashian to celebrate her 61st birthday surrounded by family and A-List celebrities. An intimate dinner with boyfriend, Corey Gamble, ended up being an A-list bash at West Hollywood hotspot Catch according to Us Magazine. In attendance were John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Jonathan Cheban, Chris Brown, and Scott Disick.
The woman of the night graced the occasion in a black lace camisole paired with a white blazer and matching pant. The rest of the crew stuck with gray and black themed attires. While Kris Jenner birthday celebrations with the Kardashians looked every bit glamorous, there was no way it was ever going topple Kendall’s birthday party.
Based on the photo’s posted on social media pages it appears Kourtney Kardashian was the only kid present at Kris Jenner’s 61st birthday party. Kim Kardashian and husband Kanye West were nowhere to be seen amidst reports of growing tensions between mother, daughter, and son-in-law. Radar Online claims that the self-proclaimed momager is not happy with Kanye’s push to have Kim withdraw her participation from the Keeping Up With Kardashians reality show.
Kim has, in the recent past, resorted to living life on the low having been shaken by the robbery incidence in Paris. Initially, there were reports claiming she had refused to take part in the family’s reality show as she considered taking a break from the cameras. Fueling speculation that the self-proclaimed queen of selfies could quit the show were reports claiming that Kanye had asked her to consider dimming the spotlight on the family.
While the absence of Rob Kardashian can be understood given that he is expecting his first child anytime now, the absence of Kim could fuel speculation that everything is not well in the Kardashian clan. Unlike Kris’s birthday party celebration, the entire Kardashian clan, excluding Rob, attended Jenner’s 21st birthday.
Rob, who has in more than occasion, tried to shun his family could, however, not let her mother’s birthday big day go without making a point. A post by Kris on Instagram all but showed how mother, son, and daughter-in-law are getting well despite recent feuds.

She also took to Snapchat to sing “Happy Birthday” helped by Teigen and Legend in the background. Kendall Jenner’s absence from Kris Jenner birthday celebrations with the Kardashians could as well not have come as a surprise. The young Kardashian is still recovering from her own celebrations, having held a much bigger bash with close family and friends according to the Bustle. There is also a fair chance she missed her mother’s party as she continues to celebrate her own party.
Judging by her own posts, it appears Kylie Jenner could not attend Kris Jenner birthday celebrations with the Kardashians because of work related commitments. The young model has been busy in the lead up to the launch of Kylie Cosmetics business in collaboration with Koko Collection.
