Rosie O’Donnell Plans To Renovate Honey Boo Boo’s House

Rosie O’Donnell really does want to help out Honey Boo Boo and her family.

After telling People magazine earlier this month that she’s a huge fan of the show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo, Rosie then added that she wants to buy the clan a new home. Most observers marked it off as misplaced enthusiasm, but now it appears that Rosie was being serious.

After Honey Boo Boo’s family heard about Rosie O’Donnell’s offer, they noted that they like their McIntyre, Georgia home just fine, but it could use some upgrades, Yahoo! TV reported. When Rosie heard their request, she jumped at the chance

“We’re in! Are you kidding me? Of course,” O’Donnell told People magazine at her Building Dreams for Kids Gala to benefit Rosie’s Theater Kids. Rosie then put on her idea cap and thought about ways to market the act of generosity, saying it could be made into a show called”Rosie O’Donnell and Honey Boo Boo’s Renovation.”

Whether the renovations really happen or not, Rosie O’Donnell will definitely remain a fan of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Rosie said she was skeptical at first, but said she quickly came around on the reality show.

“I didn’t know what to expect,” O’Donnell said. “For the first 10 minutes, I was kinda stunned. For the second 10 minutes, I was touched. And for the last 10 minutes I thought, this is really revolutionary TV in a way most people won’t understand.”

Rosie O’Donnell may soon be part of that revolutionary show if she does indeed renovate Honey Boo Boo’s house.
