Drake, Taylor Swift Romance Rumor: How Their Friendship Continues To Heat Up

Drake continues to give his fans the impression that he’s dating Taylor Swift, with sources now claiming that the twosome have been inseparable ever since their public outing last week.

The rapper made endless headlines last month when Swift attended his birthday party in West Hollywood, TMZ adds, and even going as far as to introduce Taylor to his mother, Sandi Graham, who was also present at the event.

Hollywood Life now reports that Drake’s friendship with Taylor has continued to heat up. According to sources, the twosome have been working on new music together, with one particular insider alleging that Swift is looking to land herself a collaboration with Drake for her forthcoming album.

It’s unclear how many songs the duo is working on, but there will definitely something coming out from the two in the next couple of months, the source assures.

As for their friendship, since Taylor Swift attended Drake’s birthday bash, the twosome have become inseparable ever since. The “Blank Space” singer has found herself on Drake’s Instagram page three times this past week, insinuating that there’s a chance they might actually give this potential romance a shot.

“Drake and Taylor [Swift] are getting closer and they’re spending a lot of time together outside the studio,” a source explained. “They’ve had several secret, small, and intimate dinners together at two of Drake’s favorite restaurants in LA. He’s being really, really low key about it, virtually going under the radar when they’re out in public.”

Drake is very much known for being private about his love life. His split from Rihanna last month surprised a lot of fans, especially since it was only in August when the rapper gushed on how he wanted to spend the rest of his life with the Bajan beauty.

The source continues by adding that Taylor is being very respectful of Drake’s wishes not to publicize whatever they currently have going on between one another. As far as their friends are aware, Taylor Swift and Drake are both single, so a potential relationship shouldn’t be ruled out just yet. Drake just wouldn’t want to make it a publicity thing.

“At one of the dinners, he told Taylor he likes to be very secretive when he’s getting to know someone and hit Taylor with his famous line ‘I’m all on the low, take a famous girl out with me, no paparazzi’ from the ‘Versace’ cut he did with Migos,” the source added.

Swift has been gushing about Drake to all of her friends since attending the birthday bash in West Hollywood last week. Insiders stress that even Swift’s friends agree that Drake would probably be a great choice for their pal, mainly because the Canadian-born hitmaker is so different from the men Taylor is used to dating.

Over the summer, it was revealed that Taylor Swift wanted to take a break from the dating scene and focus on her music career again, having found herself breaking up with two men in the course of just under three months.

Her relationship with Tom Hiddleston fizzled out just after two months of dating. Before that, she was seeing Calvin Harris, but after allegedly having dumped the music producer via a text message, Swift was quick to move on to her next lover.

If her current friendship with Drake develops into something more than that, it doesn’t seem as if Taylor is going to back away from the chance of dating one of the biggest rappers in the music industry right now.
