Is Rihanna indicating that she’s still on bad terms with Drake by working with Meek Mill?

According to a new report, the “What’s My Name?” singer is desperate to get in the studio with Meek, having recently listened to the rapper’s new EP, Dreamchasers Four.

Hollywood Life alleges that Rihanna was so impressed with the record, she immediately tried to make some arrangement that will see her collaborate with Meek soon.

Could this potentially mean another album from Rihanna?

Whatever the case may be, sources say that the timing for Rihanna to find a particular interested to work with Meek Mill seems rather odd, especially when considering that it’s only been three weeks since Rihanna supposedly dumped Drake.

The duo had been dating for a couple of months before the hitmaker became under the impression that her relationship with the “One Dance” rapper had come to a standstill.

Insiders at the time stressed that Rihanna didn’t feel as if Drake was serious about the romance, convinced that he was only wasting her time and hadn’t thought about plans to start a family with the Bajan beauty.

As previously revealed, Rihanna has very much been making family life a priority of hers. She has even gushed to fans on how she’ll definitely be raising a child of her own in the forthcoming years — her main problem, however, seems to be finding the right guy.

And if Drake can’t prove that commitment to her, she’s not willing to wait around for the 30-year-old when she isn’t getting any younger herself, Us Weekly adds. But could that potentially be one of the reasons why Rihanna is now rushing to get back in the studio to record a song with Drake’s biggest enemy in hip hop?

“Rihanna thinks people need to put a little more respect on Meek Mill’s name. She heard his new mixtape and thought it was on fire! She loves it,” a source dished. “She loves how raw and passionate his words are and definitely wants to put things in action so that she can get some studio time with him and brainstorm on a collaboration.”

“She feels that together the two of them could really make some stuff that would make hip hop pop! That seems to be the new thing, stepping outside the box, working with different artists from different genres and merging the two and making music. Rihanna loves that idea and will not be outdone by anyone.”

Last month, it was revealed that Rihanna kindly declined Drake’s offer to celebrate his 30th birthday party in West Hollywood, making it known that she was caught up in filming scenes for her forthcoming movie, Ocean’s Eight, starring Anne Hathaway, out in New York City.

Rihanna concluded her ANTI touring duties earlier this year, but with reports claiming that she’s eager to get in the studio with Meek Mill for a new song, it definitely seems to indicate that there’s new music on the way from Rih-Rih.

Fans have already been wondering whether Rihanna will open to the idea of having Meek Mill diss Drake on the track, considering the fact that neither of the two are currently on good terms with the Canadian star.
