Kelly Dodd Calls ‘RHOC’ ‘Theraputic,’ But Is She Invited Back For Season 12?

Despite all the negative drama surrounding Kelly Dodd, the Real Housewives of Orange County newcomer believes her time on the show was very “therapeutic.” Dodd may want to remain on Bravo’s hit reality series for another year, but will producers invite her back for Season 12?

Reality Tea reports that Dodd’s communication skills have improved after being a part of RHOC. Dodd found herself in the middle of some pretty nasty fights this season and was heavily panned for criticizing her own husband, Michael.

At one point, Dodd compared Michael to Hitler. She claims that she was only joking and promises to do a better job thinking about her words next season. Even still, Michael was unhappy when he heard his wife’s insults play out on national TV.

“He was disappointed. Nobody really wants to hear their spouse talking trash,” Dodd stated. “But it made me look at myself and say, ‘I can’t do that. It’s not right.’ [Michael] sees himself and knows what he has to work on and change.”

Will Dodd be back for another round of drama next season?

“I’m not quite sure. I was going on the show thinking it would be a lighthearted and more fun rather than in attack mode all the time. I’m not saying I’m perfect. I’ve said some things that weren’t appropriate, but you know…”

“I would say there’s more good that came out of it than bad,” she noted in the interview. “It was a great experience, a learning experience.”

Even though Season 11 is a wrap, Perez Hilton reports that Dodd is still stirring up drama. Most recently, the reality star stopped by for a chat with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. During the interview, Dodd was asked which cast member should get fired next season.

Instead of picking someone like Vicki Gunvalson, Dodd said that Shannon Beador shouldn’t be asked to return for another year. It’s understandable that Dodd is sticking by Gunvalson’s side – though the O.G. obviously doesn’t feel the same way – but Beador is probably the last cast member that should leave.

According to Blasting News, Dodd’s interview with Cohen only got worse. Things turned awkward after a caller asked Dodd if she cheated on her husband with a man named Frank. Cohen was puzzled by the question but Dodd knew exactly what the caller was talking about.

Apparently, Frank is a friend of the family and Dodd has dealt with similar rumors in the past. Frank is a close friend of Dodd and the reality star admitted that he is “like a brother.” She also denied having an affair with the man and told the caller she could verify it with Frank.

To make matters worse, Kelly Dodd later claimed that some of her co-stars tried to set her up on WWHL. The RHOC star shared a few screenshots of a text message between Tamra Judge and an unknown person that was planning on calling the show.

The messages show that Judge manipulated the woman to ask certain questions. Following the episode, Cohen took to social media and apologized for the awkward questions, saying that the caller had changed their inquiry after getting through the filter.

Dodd’s feud with Judge ramped up during the cast trip to Ireland. According to Radar Online, the two women exchanged blows and took their fight to social media after the episode aired.

Judge called out Dodd for being a “criminal” in a series of posts after their fight on RHOC. Unfortunately for Judge, Dodd didn’t take the insult well and complained to producers that her co-star had taken things too far.

After a conversation with producers, Dodd was angry because Judge “wasn’t fired immediately” for her actions both on and off the set. Dodd then reached out to social media and told fans that Judge was “the devil.”

“Porsha lost her peach when she attacked Kenya [Moore],” an insider revealed. “Kelly wants Tamra to be held accountable for her actions. She hit her, and that is unacceptable.”

Cameras were not rolling when the incident in Ireland occurred. But that didn’t stop Dodd from pushing the issue and getting Doug Ross, the owner of Evolution Media, involved.

“Doug Ross got a call about Tamra from Kelly’s team,” the source stated.

At the same time, All About The Tea reports that Dodd spoke out against the rumors that her co-stars are trying to get her fired.

“Good luck to them!! Ratings have never been higher!!” she wrote.

Producers have not released any information about casting for Season 12 and won’t likely say anything until well after the reunion.

In the meantime, fans can watch the drama between Dodd and Judge continued to unfold when the three-part reunion of the Real Housewives of Orange County starts Monday nights on Bravo.
