Drake, Taylor Swift ‘Dating’: Serena Williams Approves Of Rapper’s Relationship After Rihanna Split

Drake reportedly dating Taylor Swift has made Serena Williams very happy, it has been alleged.

While the tennis champion isn’t exactly sure whether or not her ex-boyfriend is officially dating the country singer, should rumors be true that the duo is hooking up, Williams couldn’t be happier for Drake and Swift.

According to Hollywood Life, Serena has seen some of the women Drake has dated in recent years, and out of all of them, nobody can compare to Taylor. From the way she carries herself to how devoted she is with the men she dates, Serena is convinced that Drake needs someone like Swift in his life.

The “One Dance” hitmaker is famously known for dating strippers and Instagram models, which is the complete opposite of the person Swift is.

Sources say Drake and Taylor have been bonding about music in recent weeks, having already booked studio sessions to work on their forthcoming collaboration together, which is most likely going to be featured on Swift’s next album.

They’ve been spotted several times since Taylor attended Drake’s 30th birthday bash in West Hollywood last week, and now Serena Williams is weighing in on her thoughts. And from what sources have gathered, she’d push Drake to give Taylor a shot, convinced that Swift is exactly the person the rapper needs in his life.

“Serena believes in love and her life is truly a fairy tale come true. She’s one of those women who wants everyone to be happy, including her ex Drake and she thinks Taylor’s the one for him!” a source revealed.

“She’s America’s sweetheart and he’s Prince Charming and together she thinks they’d be cute. Serena thinks Taylor could actually be the one who could tames Drake and gets him to understand a woman’s worth and her true value.”

Fans were stunned to find out that Drake had made the move to introduce Taylor Swift to his mother, considering the fact that nobody was even aware of the fact that the duo were such good friends.

While Taylor would be very open to the idea of seeing where a relationship with Drake takes her, as of right now, the twosome is being very professional about their ways, MTV adds. They’ve been friends for a year and only now have they found time to work on a project together.

Drake recently split up with Rihanna, giving him all the more reasons to see whether Taylor Swift is the one for him, but it doesn’t seem as if the rapper is interested in mixing business with pleasure — especially since the two haven’t recorded their collaboration yet.

If things naturally develop into something more than a friendship, sources seem convinced that Drake would be open to the idea of dating Taylor Swift.

Concerning Serena Williams, an insider continued by saying, “Serena’s known Taylor for a while and thinks she’s a wholesome, down-to-earth girl with a good head on her shoulders who commands absolute respect! She’s not some thirsty Instagram model or a hardcore diva like many of the girls Drake’s known to date.”

Drake has yet to respond to claims he’s dating Taylor Swift. His Instagram page, where he recently shared a photo of himself with Taylor Swift, strongly seems to insinuate that there’s a certain kind of relationship being built between the two.
