The Washington DC school attended by President Obama’s daughters was briefly evacuated on Thursday after a suspicious phone call, law enforcement authorities said.

The prestigious and exclusive Sidwell Friends School, a private institution attended by Barack and Michelle Obama’s daughters, evacuated the buildings on its Wisconsin Avenue campus in northwest Washington after the suspicious phone call was made, according to CNBC. Obama’s daughters, 11-year-old Sasha and 14-year-old Malia, are reportedly okay after the frightening incident.

A statement on the Sidwell Friends School’s website confirmed the evacuation and the all-clear order given later:

“Earlier this morning, Sidwell Friends received a suspicious phone call and evacuated the buildings on the Wisconsin Avenue campus. After an investigation by law enforcement, it was determined that no risk was present. Students and employees have now returned to class.”

D.C. Police spokesman Araz Alali said that officers also responded to a call regarding an unattended bag at the rear of the school. The bag was checked but did not contain anything hazardous. Sidwell Friends, which has students between kindergarten and 12th grade, gave no details about the suspicious call after two law enforcement sources gave the all-clear to the school.

According to ABC News, the White House deferred all questions to the Secret Service, which declined to comment.
