Boxing fans can watch the Manny Pacquiao vs. Jessie Vargas match live online and see if the sport’s only eight-division world titleholder can add another major win to his already storied career.
Pacquiao will square off against the welterweight world titleholder in a match on Saturday night, with the undercard action starting at 9 p.m. ET (1 a.m. GMT/9 a.m. in the Philippines). The match will be available on Top Rank PPV in the United States with plenty of options for how to watch the Pacquiao vs. Vargas on streaming video (links to online video, including how to watch the Pacquiao fight in the Philippines, can be found below).
For Pacquiao, it will be the first fight since making short work of Timothy Bradley Jr. in April and then announcing his retirement. Since then, he was elected to the Senate in the Philippines before deciding to return, and Pacquiao now said it feels good to be out of the political arena for a bit and into the ring.
“I’m happy to be back,” Pacquiao said via ESPN.
“I want to put on a good show and have another boxing record.”

Pacquiao added that he doesn’t feel anywhere close to retirement again.
“I am not done with boxing. I will continue to keep fighting as long as I love boxing and boxing still loves me,” Pacquiao was quoted as saying via the Telegraph.
“I want to prove that I am still one of the best pound-for-pound fighters. I do not feel old. I feel like I am still 27.”
Those who watch the Manny Pacquiao vs. Jessie Vargas boxing match live online will see a motivated Pacquiao, looking to move another step beyond his loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. in what many considered to be the biggest bout in at least half a century.
Pacquiao also told ESPN that his status as the challenger, taking on Vargas for the belt, adds a bit more motivation.
But Jessie Vargas isn’t scared either, saying he’s ready to take on the future Hall of Fame southpaw.
“I feel great and I’m here to give the fans a great fight and come out on top and prove I’m the best in the welterweight division,” Vargas said.
“We’ve worked hard for this and I have no doubt about the outcome. Manny Pacquiao has had a great career and it would mean the world to beat him, and that is what I am ready to do. I want to become a legend.”
Fans watching the Pacquiao vs. Vargas bout live online will still see the Filipino fighter coming in as a big favorite. Among 17 experts polled by ESPN, only one picked Jessie Vargas to win the fight, although several said it would be a close match.
Teddy Atlas was one of those predicting a nail-biter.
“Pacquiao is in the twilight of a great career, while Vargas is just coming into his own,” he wrote.
“Vargas is performing with a solidness and confidence of a top fighter who has developed a coy delivery system for his right hand. But at the end of the day, the ultra-athletic Pacquiao will be a bit too fast for a solid-but-still-one-dimensional Vargas. Pacman wins a decision after surviving a scare where he is shaken.”

There will be plenty of other great action on Saturday’s undercard, including Jessie Magdaleno challenging for Nonito Donaire’s WBO super bantamweight title and Zou Shiming squaring off against Prasitsak Phaprom for the vacant WBO flyweight title.
