Scheana Shay Divorce: Is ‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Ending Her Marriage Due To Mike Shay’s Drug Use?

Scheana Shay’s marriage to husband Mike Shay may soon come to an end.

While the reality couple appeared to work out their past marital issues during the fourth season of Vanderpump Rules, things between them have taken a turn for the worse yet again, possibly due to a drug relapse.

Just one week ago, things between Scheana Shay and her husband appeared to be going well. In addition to attending a Halloween party in Los Angeles as a couple, Scheana Shay shared a special message to Mike on her Instagram account, which labeled him a “stud” and said he was her “Man Crush Monday.”

Now, however, things between them are reportedly strained and on Thursday night, Scheana Shay attended a Vanderpump Rules event with Mike nowhere in sight. In a photo shared on Instagram the following day, Scheana Shay was seen in a black dress with her boss and friend, Lisa Vanderpump, at her side.

While Mike has been less active on social media, he did share a photo of Scheana Shay last month and asked, “That’s my wife?” He then said he was the luckiest guy alive. Weeks later, he began to promote recent events with his band, the latest of which took place around the time he went missing.

On November 4, TMZ shared details regarding the alleged marital troubles between Scheana Shay and her husband, claiming Mike went missing on Wednesday night and drained their checking account after she canceled his credit cards.

“[Scheana Shay] and Michael Shay could be on the express train to spiltsville, now that she’s telling friends he disappeared with their money,” the outlet revealed to readers. “The Vanderpump Rules star got scared when her husband didn’t come home last Wednesday. She thought it was odd because a close friend had just died, and she was very upset. Mike’s history with prescription drugs also escalated her concern.”

After Mike went missing, Scheana Shay couldn’t reach him and opted to cut off his credit cards. Two days later, Mike reportedly cleaned out their bank account and has been missing ever since.

“[Scheana Shay] fears he’s off the wagon, and she’s considering pulling the plug on their marriage,” the outlet added.

Scheana Shay and Mike Shay tied the knot during the third season of Vanderpump Rules and during Season 4, they were seen feuding over Mike’s alleged addiction to prescription pills. During the show, fans watched as Scheana Shay opened up to Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix about her marriage and admitted that Mike leaves home when they aren’t on good terms.

Despite her marital troubles, Scheana Shay and her Vanderpump Rules co-stars teamed up for a party to raise funds for the Vanderpump Dogs Foundation on Thursday, as revealed by the Daily Mail. On the red carpet, Scheana Shay smiled for the camera as she posed for photos with her co-stars. One week prior, as the outlet also revealed, Scheana Shay was photographed twerking for her husband while dressed up as Jem from Jem and the Holograms for Halloween.

“The pair were teenage sweathearts, with Scheana a cheerleader and Shay the high school football star. They wed in 2014 in a ceremony at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Santa Susana, California,” the outlet revealed.
