‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Justin Hartley To Return For November Sweeps–The Custody Battle That Will Shake Genoa City

Justin Hartley teased to Soap Opera Digest that he would “consider” a short return as Adam as long as it didn’t interfere with his taping schedule with NBC’s This Is Us. The juicy tidbit sent the Young and the Restless fans in panic mode—-the show needs Adam Newman to return, with or without Justin.
Right now, Hartley is busy wrapping us Season 1 for This Is Us. He explained that it would be a few months before he had enough time to dedicate to a one or two-day appearance on the Young and the Restless. The news didn’t sit well with the fans, and they demanded CBS bring Adam back to Genoa City, even if it meant they had to recast the role. Genoa City hasn’t been the same since Justin left the show.

The Young and the Restless spoilers suggest that Nick (Joshua Morrow) believes that Christian is his child. It hasn’t occurred to him that he could be Adam’s son, even though he knew that it was a possibility.
If you think back to several months ago, Nick was determined to find out why his wife, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) called Adam just minutes before her fatal car accident. He learned this week that Sage learned that Christian was alive and was rushing to tell him. For some reason, Nick hasn’t connected the dots yet—he has no idea that Christian’s father could be Adam.
Soap Opera Spy reports that Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan)has remained a sounding board for Nick, but hasn’t disclosed what she knows about Christian’s paternity. It seems inevitable that eventually, it will come out that Chelsea knew that Christian was Adam’s son. If and when that happens, you can pretty much bet that Nick will be angry that no one told him the truth.
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that a courtroom showdown is about to happen—forcing a judge to decide who will take custody of Christian. Nick believes he is the father, and naturally, should be handed the baby, no questions asked. Dylan (Steve Burton) and Sharon (Sharon Case) love the infant and have been taking care of him for over a year. There is a strong bond between them, and they feel they should not be cut out of the tot’s life. The wild cards, Chelsea and Victor (Eric Braeden), may decide, to tell the truth about Christian’s paternity and seek custody of the baby.

The one detail most the Young and the Restless fans can agree on is when Nick learns that he isn’t Christian’s father, it will destroy him. For months, Mal Young and previously Chuck Pratt, Jr. teased the fans that when the secret was revealed it would devastate Dylan, Sharon, Nick, and Chelsea.
The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Victor agreed to stand back and let Nick take custody of Christian and keep his paternity a secret. How long will that last?
