Cannibal Frat Boy Austin Harrouff Told Cops ‘I Ate Something Bad…Humans’ As He Spit Out Flesh, Begged To Be Shot

Austin Harrouff, 19, was found by police gnawing on the face of his stabbing victim, John Stevens III, at a home in Tequesta, Florida, back in August. Harrouff was taken to a hospital after he was tased and subdued by a K-9 officer. However, once at the hospital, police noted that Harrouff asked an officer for help, noting he “ate something bad.” When asked about what he ate, the teen replied, “humans” as he spat flesh from his mouth.

Buzzfeed reports that new details regarding the horrific murders of John Stevens III, 59, and his wife, Michelle Mishcon, 53, have been revealed by local authorities. The reports indicate that when police arrived at the murder scene, Austin was on top of the male victim “gnawing” on his face. Police attempted to handcuff Austin but say he was “grunting and growling” and that even a taser did not stop the teen from continuing to attack and eat the flesh of his victim. Therefore, a K-9 officer was called to the scene and was utilized to subdue the teen and give officers the opportunity to handcuff him. The officers say the teen then begged them to shoot him.

“(Expletive) kill me, (expletive) kill me, shoot me now, I deserve to die.”

Austin was then taken to St. Mary’s Medical Center where he was treated. Once at the hospital, Austin asked for help noting he “ate something bad.”

“Help me, I ate something bad.”

According to the Palm Beach Post, the officer responded by asking the teen what he ate. The teen then spat flesh from his mouth that had remained there during transport and replied, “humans.” The horrific nature of the attack left many in the media referring to Austin as the “cannibal frat boy” because he was a member of the Alpha Delta Phi fraternity at Florida State University.

The incident reportedly began while Austin was in the town visiting family. He was having dinner at a sports bar with his family when he became agitated and left the restaurant. The teen then proceeded to walk towards his family home, but for reasons unknown, he took a detour and randomly came across his victims sitting in their garage at home. Austin would stab and beat the pair to death before proceeding to eat some of the flesh from the male victim’s body before police could arrive.

Police note that they are still waiting on more toxicology reports to be returned to determine if drugs were a factor in the horrific murders. However, it was noted that police believe the teen did ingest lawn chemicals that were located inside of the victims’ garage. Despite the belief that the teen ingested the lawn chemicals, it is unclear if other drugs were involved prior to the murder, as the killing would have likely had to have already begun for Austin to gain access to the chemicals located in the garage.

Meanwhile, prosecutors say they will ask a grand jury to indict him on first-degree murder charges. That would make him eligible for the death penalty. However, the victim’s son believes that the defense is going to attempt to plead insanity based on comments that have been made following the teen’s release from the hospital, particularly ones made on the Dr. Phil show.

“In the little clip they played he said something about people are worshipping me and dreams about being the President of the United States. I mean who cares. It’s like he googled how to concoct an insanity defense. It’s pathetic.”

What do you think about the cannibal frat boy’s response to police following the horrific murder?
