Leah Messer Surprises Everyone With Major Announcement: ‘Teen Mom’ Star’s Best Kept Secret?

Leah Messer has been keeping a low profile over the past couple of months, as she’s filming the newest season of Teen Mom. Leah recently revealed that she was both happy and tired of filming Teen Mom and it sounds like she’s ready to put the show on the shelf. Over the past couple of years, her main priority has been her daughters and her relationships. While filming the show, Leah has been dealing with her failed marriage to Corey Simms and her second husband, Jeremy Calvert, leaving her behind as she was going through anxiety and depression.

According to a new Instagram post, Leah Messer has been working on herself, but she hasn’t been sharing details about what she’s been up to. Maybe she just wants to make sure that things worked out for her before she announced anything. However, this week, Messer revealed that things had indeed changed for her, as she revealed that she went back to school to get her credits required to start college once again.

“Today was a successful day. Passed the English placement test for college!! Extremely proud of myself #College, thank you for the tour and everything you did for me today! It was worth the time spent. I am proud to higher my education, and be an example for my daughters! #AAA They are the reason for my success,” Leah Messer revealed on Instagram, sharing that she would now be able to attend college once again.

Messer didn’t share what she was planning on studying, but completing her English placement test for college is definitely a step in the right direction. Leah is proud that she’s now going back to college, because she wants to set an example for her three daughters. Moreover, her many fans were quick to reach out to her, congratulating her for taking such a big step for herself and her daughters.

“It probably means she doesn’t have to take remedial classes that don’t actually count for credit. I had to do that for math, and thus I felt like I “failed” my placement test at the time because I didn’t achieve what I wanted,” one of Leah Messer’s fans wrote to her to clarify what she meant by the placement test, sharing that she may have to complete fewer credits to get a full education.

And this could be awesome news, as Leah may be able to get a full education on a fast track schedule. And it sounds like people really do believe that she can complete an education for herself and be a role model for her three daughters.

“You can do it!!! I was a teen mom (actually my first daughter’s 16th birthday was yesterday). The school guidance counselor at the high school I attended then told me that I would never make anything of myself and that I had ruined my life. Well, I became a nurse 6 years later and now I am a nurse practitioner!!!” one person wrote to Messer, while another added, “I took some summer classes there! I live like five minutes from the campus. One of my soldiers in my National Guard unit goes there for the arts, and she really likes it. The college has improved a lot.”

It sounds like Leah has plenty of things to look forward to based on that last comment, as the college seems to have improved over the past while. And maybe Messer was just waiting for the right moment for herself to go back to school. However, it is admirable that she’s taking this step to make her life better for herself and her daughters.
