Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Top-Secret Rendezvous In Toronto

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s romance is reaching new heights. A source revealed to ET Online that Prince Harry, 32, visited Meghan in Toronto. Prince Harry flew back to the U.K. after the visit. Us Weekly’s Europe bureau chief, Omid Scobie, told Good Morning America that the visit was just as low key as their romance.

Reports broke out over the weekend that Harry had been dating Meghan for several months, “Harry has been smart in how he’s handled this, only telling certain people.”

The couple reportedly met when Harry was in Toronto to promote the Invictus Games. Meghan is in Toronto for her current gig on Suits.

“It was definitely a cloak and dagger visit … Harry had been planning this for some time and made sure it was done totally undercover arriving at the airport with one security guard and going straight to her apartment.”

According to ABC News, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had a brief but relaxing visit.

“He got to meet her friends, spend time at her house bond with her dogs. It was just like a couple just hanging out at home … They’ve been cooking together, taking the dogs for walks, even going out and checking out the Halloween decorations.”

Markle is said to be a hit with Harry’s close circle of friends.

“Meghan has met Harry’s close inner circle of friends … They really like her, and like that he is happy.”

Meghan’s life hasn’t always been so spectacular. Meghan talked to the Daily Mail about the struggles she faced before becoming a successful actress.

“I was not a girl who grew up buying $100 candles. I was the girl who ran out of gas on her way to an audition.”

Royal expert Katie Nicholl tells ET Online that Prince Harry is very fond of the Suits actress.

“He is very into Meghan, it’s a bit of a whirlwind romance … They’ve been dating very secretly for the past three months.”

Us Weekly’s Scobie tells Good Morning America that Meghan has not yet met Prince William and his wife, Kate.

“Two very important people left on the list for Meghan to meet are William and Kate … It’s very important for Harry to introduce her to them because they’re important people in his life and their opinion counts.”

Meghan was born to an African-American mom and Caucasian dad. Markle wrote a column for Elle magazine about struggling with her ethnic identity as a child.

“I wasn’t black enough for the black roles and I wasn’t white enough for the white ones… Leaving me somewhere in the middle as the ethnic chameleon who couldn’t book a job.”

Markle also said it was difficult finding roles in Hollywood. Through the tribulations, Scobie says Meghan is very proud of her heritage and humble background.

“Meghan is someone that wears her biracial badge with honor… she’s very proud of her heritage and her humble background … She didn’t come from money, she herself has said.”

According to CNN, Prince Harry’s rumored girlfriend grew up in Los Angeles and graduated from Northwestern University with a bachelor’s degree in communications. Markle also runs a lifestyle website called The Tig named after her favorite Italian wine, Tignanello. On her website, Meghan shares recipes and tips for fitness and travel.

Meghan is a UN Women Advocate and shares Harry’s love for humanitarian work. Markle worked with the Clean Water Campaign. ABC News’ royal contributor, Victoria Murphy, spoke of Markle’s humanitarian efforts.

“She is very interested in charity work… She’s an ambassador for a number of charities. She’s been to Africa on humanitarian projects, in the same way as he has.”

Meghan was married to Trevor Engelson for two years and split in 2013.
