Cleveland Browns Vs. Dallas Cowboys: Bold Predictions For NFL Week 9

The Cleveland Browns are set to host the Dallas Cowboys in NFL Week 9 action. It is a game that many believe will end up being extremely lopsided, although stranger things have happened than the Browns pulling off an upset over the best team in the NFC would be in NFL history.

Dak Prescott has been impressive this season as a rookie, leading the Cowboys to a 6-1 record. He has had a lot of help from fellow rookie Ezekiel Elliott, who many believe is already the best running back in the NFL. Dallas has seen their defense step up in a big way as well, which has turned Dallas into a serious Super Bowl contender.

Cleveland, on the other hand, is headed for what could be another NFL Draft with the No. 1 overall pick. They are 0-8 on the season and have gone through many different quarterback options. They did just acquire Jamie Collins in a big trade with the New England Patriots, which will help their defense in a big way.

Simply looking at the matchup on paper, it is hard to see how the Browns could pull out a win. Dallas is without question one of the top Super Bowl contenders this season, but this is the definition of a trap game. If they come out expecting to win, the Browns could very well make a game of it.

All of that being said, what bold predictions can be made for the Browns vs. Cowboys game in NFL Week 9 action?

Cody Kessler Rips Through the Dallas Defense

There is no question that Cody Kessler is the best quarterback on the Browns’ roster, and he is finally back from injury. He is going to find holes in the Dallas defense and will rack up 275 yards and three touchdowns in the game. That may not be a bold prediction for most teams, but the Browns are a team who very little is expected from compared to most.

Dak Prescott Continues His Big Performances

Dallas is going up against a fairly weak defense in Cleveland, and Dak Prescott will take advantage of it. He is going to rack up a total of 325 yards and four touchdowns in the game. Cleveland simply doesn’t have enough firepower to stop the Cowboys’ offense this week.

Ezekiel Elliott Breaks Off 130 Yards and Two Touchdowns

Ezekiel Elliott is without question one of the best running backs in the NFL, if not the best out of all of them. He will put up big numbers this week against the weak Cleveland defense. He will break off 130 rushing yards to go along with two touchdowns in the game to continue his impressive performances.

Corey Coleman Returns from Injury with an Explosive Game

Rookie wide receiver Corey Coleman is set to return from his injury this week and will be thrown into the action immediately. Coleman will return from his injury in a big way with an explosive game. He will rack up at least 100 receiving yards throughout the course of the game and will catch a touchdown pass as well.

Dallas Will Improve to 7-1 with a Blowout Win Over the Browns

While the Browns are hopeful that they can put up a fight, Dallas will blow them out and improve to 7-1. Prescott will continue his impressive play, and the offense will roll this week. Dallas may start off a bit slow, but by the end of the game, they will be dominating the Browns.

Expect to see the Cowboys show off once again why they are the best team in the NFC. Cleveland will take yet another step towards the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
