Dinesh D’Souza, the man behind the misleading sleeper hit 2016: Obama’s America, is dealing with an embarrassing personal situation seemingly in conflict with his status as a culture warrior, as he has allegedly been caught out staying overnight in a hotel with a woman (who he is said to have introduced as his fiancée) who is not his wife.
Dinesh D’Souza has been married to Dixie D’Souza, nee Brubaker, since 1992, and the couple have one daughter. So why was D’Souza spotted at a conference checking into the Comfort Suites with a twenty-something conservative blogger named Denise Odie Joseph II? One Evangelical magazine blew the lid off the story, seeking answers from D’Souza after the allegations surfaced.
Salon quotes the publication, World, as exposing D’Souza’s alleged infidelity:
“Although D’Souza has been married for 20 years to his wife, Dixie, in South Carolina he was with a young woman, Denise Odie Joseph II, and introduced her to at least three people as his fiancée … Finally, near 11 p.m., event organizer Tony Beam escorted D’Souza and Joseph to the nearby Comfort Suites. Beam noted that they checked in together and were apparently sharing a room for the night in the sold-out hotel. The next morning, around 6 a.m., Beam arrived back at the hotel and called up to D’Souza’s room. ‘We’ll be down in 10 minutes,’ D’Souza told Beam. D’Souza and Joseph came down together, and Beam took them to the airport.”
Dinesh D’Souza is president at Evangelical King’s College in New York, and the organization is said to be “looking into the situation” involving D’Souza’s alleged affair.
After the story broke, the conservative muckraker is said to have “suspended” his engagement to Joseph, owing to the fact he has not yet obtained a divorce or annulment for his marriage to Dixie. As for Joseph, a Facebook page reported to belong to D’Souza’s alleged companion shows a public post promoting the conservative commentator’s hit film.
Wonkette grabbed a quote from Joseph’s blog decrying hypocritical married men with weak morals, in which she is said to have bleated:
“RINO Republicans are analogous to fathers who proudly proclaim their conservativeness at dinner parties or perhaps during early afternoon phone calls to El Rusbo’s show, but let their ‘independently-minded’ wives (translation–women who get their marching orders from St. Oprah or more recently, The View ) pump their teenagers full of birth control and encourage their daughters to live the lives for which their bra-burning foremothers fought so valiantly.”

Seriously, Dinesh, he gets around, before he was married, and now as his marriage is over…. uh, sir, get a divorce first. Really, that helps out a lot. I had heard he was separated a long time ago, presumed he was divorced. Perhaps the young lady thought so too. I doubt the college did not know he was separated. Perhaps, they presumed divorced as well. But, that little legal paper makes a big difference buddy…get that done ok. Then, you can play about as you please.

He may head a Christian College, I've never heard of……….what is that like the U of Phoenix Christian College of NYC…… but, he's not marketed himself as a conservative born again moral Christian. Rather, as a by the book.

How does this guy gets women is amazing he looks like an outsourced Mr.Bean. Yet, he has broken off engagements with Laura Ingraham and Ann Coulter and now this one. Forget writing an Obama book he has to write about picking up women.

Consider this, what if it is true that they weren't sharing a hotel room. Would it still be as bad, and especially after they have announced that they were holding off their engagement. Not only this, I think we should listen to some of their political views and try to focus on the main problem: THE ELECTION! We need to find the right leader for this country and Dinesh and Denise seem to have good logic. Let's focus on the bigger problems and then on problems like these. Oh, and to regards to his appearance, Denise seems to be a beautiful woman so it only proves that she is kind to have a "relationship" with a less attractive person than herself.
At least he is not gay.

As Zulema said, he has a lot of money that he amassed from his little provocations over the years. He knows how to tweak the neocon heart and purse strings for cash by trashing blacks, gays, liberals, feminists, etc., etc. Who knows if he even has convictions? I think he figured out a niche for his own "economic development."
I was all set to bash Dinesh until I read the full context. Over on ABC he's quoted as saying, "I sought out advice about whether it is legal to be engaged prior to being divorced and I was informed that it is. Denise and I were trying to do the right thing. I had no idea that it is considered wrong in Christian circles to be engaged prior to being divorced, even though in a state of separation and in divorce proceedings." I don't know whether Dinesh has attempted to reconcile with his wife, or whose fault the divorce is (or both), but I personally know a guy whose wife purposely dragged out the divorce proceedings for YEARS. Early on he tried getting back with her but she refused. Last I heard he's dating while still technically legally married. I don't know if the two situations are comparable but at least I can be a little more understanding.

I think you are trying to be impartial and fair, and I commend you for that. That is A LOT MORE than what we can say about most of the die-hard liberals commenting on this article with a sick sense of satisfaction and a "delicious" sense of triumph, as well as an "I TOLD YOU SO" attitude!
