Katie Holmes Slams Ex Husband Tom Cruise During Interview Amid Foxx Romance Rumors
Katie Holmes has found her stride and built a lovely life for herself and her daughter, Suri Cruise, since she split from her ex-husband Tom Cruise, the father to the little beauty. The star Scientologist has made headlines over the past decade for his lack of presence in the life of his daughter and reportedly has rarely been in contact with Suri since he and Homes went their separate ways. Katie has refrained from all-out bashing her ex over the years she has been a single mother and worked away to maintain her place in the spotlight, starring in a number of movies and television programs.
However, amid all of the secret romance reports that revolve around Holmes and Jamie Foxx, the latest claim states that Katie has finally spoken out about Cruise’s lack of presence in her daughter’s life. Radar Online shares about the Dawson’s Creek star’s frustrations with Cruise.
“While Holmes has been Suri’s full-time support, Tom has been missing huge chunks of the girl’s life so far. At one point, Tom went as long as 1,000 days without seeing Suri — even totally missing her birthday in May.”
The publication goes on to state that Tom missing her birthday caused Suri to have a full-out meltdown even though her mother threw her a party at Dave & Buster’s. A source reportedly shared on the missed festivities by Cruise and how it impacted Suri.
“Suri was miserable. All she wanted was time with her dad, but Tom didn’t even send a present!”
His system of belief and involvement with the Church of Scientology has reportedly caused a wedge to be driven between Cruise and many of those who were close to him over the years. The Mission Impossible star was most recently said to not even have visited his ailing mother due to the strict rules of his faith.

Rumors have also linked Tom Cruise to reasons that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx have carried on such a secretive romance. The pair are constantly the subject of headlines, and it has been said that Tom had a condition he wanted followed when he and Katie divorced. That condition was reportedly that he did not want her dating anyone until 2017. These claims have been stamped out as false, however. Although Jamie and Katie have never verified that they are a couple, friends close to the stars have. The most recent spotting of Holmes and Foxx was during a Barbra Streisand concert at which Foxx guest starred. Although Katie left on her own, the actress was said to have spent a good deal of time hanging out with Foxx in his dressing room.

Although Katie likely has had some strong words for Cruise in secrecy over the years, Gossip Cop has debunked the rumor that Radar Online has perpetuated, and notes that Katie continues to take the high road. The actress was, however, full of only compliments and joy when speaking about her daughter recently. In an interview with ET Katie relayed how much she owes to her little one.
“She gets a special thanks for everything, [for] every job I do, because she makes every day great and awesome and better… I know myself better because of her, so she’ll always get a special thanks.”
Katie was speaking about her connection with Suri and how that bond has allowed her to play the role of a mother so well onscreen. Holmes also spoke about how Suri showed an enthusiasm for the entertainment industry and noted that the 10-year-old had a hand in assisting her while she directed her first film All We Had. Although there has clearly been some drama and negativity that resulted from the divorce, it’s obvious that Suri is the positive that came from the relationship with Cruise.
