Kelly Dodd On ‘Pretentious’ Heather Dubrow: ‘The Fancy Pants Façade Fell Away’

Kelly Dodd isn’t the first housewife to point out how Heather Dubrow seems to be one way all of the time with the ladies. Heather has a rich husband, has money in the bank, and she is building a massive home on a brand new property. Over the years, Dubrow has been criticized for putting on a façade on the show, as she wants to be presented as a classy lady who has everything together. But some of the wives saw straight through her and she’s been labeled fake and pretentious by several Real Housewives of Orange County stars throughout the years.

According to a new Bravo report, Kelly Dodd is now revealing that Heather’s true side was exposed in Ireland on the bus on the way to the airport. In the middle of the night after some drinking, she lashed out at Kelly, calling her white trash and she then proceeded to talk about how she felt bad for Kelly’s daughter, Jolie. Dubrow did everything that she slams the other ladies of doing, including talking about the children.

“Heather claims to have learned ‘who we (Vicki and I) are’ based upon how we behaved on the bus. The truth is that it’s Heather that was exposed. The Fancy Pants façade fell away and Heather’s true self-righteous, pretentious self is on full display. She then tells Terry that my belief that I was ganged up on was ‘a joke,'” Kelly Dodd writes in her Bravo blog, sharing that her co-star’s true colors were exposed on the bus on the way to the airport.

It was a moment where Dubrow probably lost control of her feelings. She was clearly rattled with how things were unfolding and she claims that she was protecting her friends. But she should not have inserted herself into the argument between Shannon Beador and Kelly Dodd. By doing so, it became a group ganging up on Kelly and Dubrow ended up looking rude and disgusting. She did everything she claims is off-limits, including talking behind her back and talking about the children. But Dodd saw it all happen and she has no problem calling out her pretentious co-star.

“So yes, the spin was in. I’ve seen this now several times from these mean girls. Try to set me up, then when I catch wind of their scheme and it blows up in their face, they deny, lie, deflect, call me crazy, repeat,” Kelly Dodd points out in her blog for Bravo, sharing that she felt that Heather was behind everything that happened in Ireland.

When she came home from Ireland, Kelly Dodd told her husband that Dubrow was the master and everyone else was the puppet, even though she got the analogy wrong. But in her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County, she explained her analogy perfectly, sharing that Heather’s true colors were showing.

“Then, as expected, Heather, the puppet-master, self-appointed ringleader and chief interloper had to jump in and try to take control of the conversation. Heather broke out her lexicon and wanted to explain my algorithm. I am pretty sure they don’t teach algorithms in drama school. Sorry Heather, you’re not the only one married to a smart man. Then she started trying to play shrink again, telling me I’m insecure and having a mental breakdown. Enough with your self-righteousness,” Kelly Dodd writes in her Bravo blog.
