Orlando, FL – Apparently they didn’t want to get a room.
The manager of Paddy Murphy’s, a popular restaurant in the Orlando area, called the cops when other customers complained that a couple was having sex right out in the open on a table in the patio area of the eatery in front of families including those with young children and in plain view of anyone walking by.
The manager told them to knock it off, but the the man involved said his girlfriend “can’t get up at this time,” according to The Smoking Gun. That’s when the manager called Orlando police.
To add insult to injury, they apparently tried to leave without paying their tab. As a result, the male suspect got into a scuffle with restaurant employees, who held him until Orlando police arrived. He was arrested for refusing to pay the $101 restaurant bill.
The couple could have been charged with alleged public lewdness or possibly other indecent exposure offenses, but the parents who witnessed the sex acts decided against giving any statements about what they saw to the police.
The couple are apparently banned from the restaurant for one year however.
Paddy Murphy’s restaurant is located in Baldwin Park, described as an upscale family community in Orlando.
