Bristol Palin Voted Off ‘Dancing With The Stars’

Karina Smirnoff fell during her routine with Apolo Ohno earlier this week but the former champion was able to escape elimination. Instead, Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas were sent home from Dancing With The Stars.

According to the Huffington Post, Palin didn’t have the worst score this week. The daughter of Sarah Palin finished below Smirnoff and Ohno but above Kirstie Alley and Maks Chmerkovskiy. Still, the audience decided that it was Palin’s turn to go home.

After leaving the stage, Palin said:

“Well, we did it, we made it to week four, and I’m happy with that, and I had an awesome time, and an awesome partner, and these are just great people, and I wish everyone the best.”

After her elimination, Bristol and Ballas headed over to Jimmy Kimmel’s couch. Kimmel has told his fair of Sarah Palin jokes and last night he gave Bristol a half-hearted apology.

Kimmel said:

“I made, I don’t know, one or two jokes about your mother over the years. I’m sorry. No, I’m not sorry you’re right. But I will allow you to make all the jokes you want about my mother.”

Here’s a video of Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas and Jimmy Kimmel last night.

Kimmel also asked the reality star if she would consider being the next contestant on The Bachelorette. Palin said no.

Are you surprised that Bristol Palin got sent home last night?
