Kate Middleton Pregnant? Duchess Won’t Be Pippa’s Maid Of Honor Because Of Baby No. 3 [Rumor]

Whether or not Kate Middleton is pregnant with her third royal baby, any chance of her being the maid of honor or even a bridesmaid at her sister’s wedding will most likely be off books.

Rumors about the next royal baby continue to circulate online as her baby sister, socialite Pippa Middleton, prepares to tie the knot with her long-time beau James Matthew.

But as Kate’s rumored pregnancy seem to make the virtual world go bananas, Pippa and her financier fiancé decided to keep their matrimony as low key as possible—a massive contrast to the elder Middleton sister’s royal wedding at Westminster Abbey.

Pippa and James will exchange vows at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, Berkshire while the reception of the May 2017 wedding will be held at the Middletons’ £6 million abode near Bucklebury, Berks.

“There’s been a lot of speculation that Pippa would get married at her fiancé’s hunting lodge in Scotland or have a massive bash in London. But she’s a traditional girl and just wanted to get married at home,” an insider close to Pippa told the Sun.

According to the source, Pippa wanted her matrimony to be “very personal,” a stark contrast with Kate’s royal wedding.

“Her mum has been very involved in all the wedding planning and she wants to show off their house to all their friends. Plus, how can you compete with Kate who got married at Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace? This way, Pippa can keep it private and very personal.”

Aside from the rumors that Kate Middleton is pregnant causing the delay in her sister’s wedding, word is spreading that the Duchess of Cambridge will not be Pippa’s maid of honor.

There is a high chance that another woman will be assisting the younger Middleton as she takes the ceremonial walk down the aisle since her big sister will most likely bow out of any position in the wedding entourage.

Many might think that is because Kate is pregnant but an expert explained that if the Duchess of Cambridge opted out of the wedding entourage, it would be to avoid upstaging her little sister.

Speaking to People Magazine, royal expert Jude Wade explained that while Kate is the first choice to be Pippa’s maid of honor, it would be best if she bowed out of the limelight.

“Kate would upstage her sister. It’s a tricky situation for Pippa. She would want her sister by her side, as who else would she trust to make things go well?” Wade explained.

“But if your sister is a future Queen, she is going to upstage the bride and draw attention. Kate would want to be in the background as much as possible.”

If Kate indeed decided not to be a bride’s maid or the maid of honor for her sister, it won’t be the first time in royalty history as People pointed out a precedent involving Princess Diana who did not participate as part of the entourage during Sarah Ferguson and Prince Andrew’s matrimony.

Her older sisters Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale were both already married when Princess Diana married Prince Charles.

But while Kate being in the entourage may already be out of the picture, her children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte may have some participation in Pippa and James’ wedding.

According to The Sun, three-year-old Prince George will be acting as a page boy while his sister, 17-month-old Princess Charlotte will be a flower girl.

The outlet also claimed that Pippa just wanted her special day to be “private and personal” and did not want to compete with Kate’s lavish wedding contrary to previous reports.

So, Kate Middleton isn’t pregnant, and she won’t be Pippa’s maid of honor.
