WikiLeaks On Twitter: No Links Between Russia And Trump Or Russia And Assange, But… [Video]

WikiLeaks on Twitter continues to attempt to manipulate the 2016 election cycle. On Halloween night, the Twitter feed of the notorious so-called government whistle-blowing organization issued a very blatant and assured reminder. According to WikiLeaks on Twitter, some things are certain.

For instance, WikiLeaks claims that there is no link between Donald Trump and Russia. The organization further claims that there is no link between Russia and WikiLeaks figurehead Julian Assange.

However, according to WikiLeaks on Twitter, Hillary Clinton and her lackey Podesta have been directly involved in selling 20 percent of the United States’ uranium to Russia.

If that’s the case, though, if Hillary Clinton has been helping to Russia with its nuclear industry by facilitating uranium sales to the nation as WikiLeaks on Twitter asserts, why has Russia and its collective leadership come out so fully in favor of Donald Trump as POTUS? Why has Russia claimed that a Hillary Clinton presidency would lead to WWIII? Let’s check out the Halloween claims made by WikiLeaks on Twitter.

First and foremost, the claim that there is no link between Trump and Russia. For months now, there have been rumors that Donald Trump is beloved by Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin. Putin and Trump have even made some bizarre “bromance-style” statements about one another.

The reason for the Russian Trump love? Many speculate that it could have to do with Donald Trump’s alleged business ties to Russia. WikiLeaks on Twitter, however, has come out time and again to claim that no such link exists.

Now, The Independent is reporting that the FBI is “sitting on” some bombshell information that unequivocally links Donald Trump to the Russian government. Exactly the opposite of what WikiLeaks on Twitter claimed Monday evening. According to the report by The Independent, Senator Harry Reid claims that the FBI is deliberately concealing information about Donald Trump’s ties to the Russian government in an attempt to sway the November 8 election.

In fact, in a direct contradiction to the claims made by WikiLeaks on Twitter, Reid called out the FBI Director.

“In my communications with you and other top officials in the national security community, it has become clear that you possess explosive information about close ties and coordination between Donald Trump, his top advisers and the Russian government. The public has a right to know this information.”

However, according to The New York Times, the FBI has investigated the possible Trump/Russia connection. And, as WikiLeaks on Twitter stated, no direct link between Trump and the Russian government has been found. At least according to the FBI, an organization that took an unprecedented step in calling out Hillary Clinton just days before the general election, despite being told not to do so by the Department of Justice.

When it comes to a connection between Russia and WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, the answers become even more vague. For example, The Daily Beast reports that Russian citizens have claimed that Assange and Russia have intimate ties, regardless of what WikiLeaks on Twitter has claimed. The lead singer of the Russian punk band Pussy Riot, Nadya Tolokno, claims that WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange works openly and proudly with Russia.

“But Julian Assange, he openly works with [Russia]. It’s not a secret. He’s connected with the Russian government, and I feel that he’s proud of it.”

However, full disclosure, she is also a proud Hillary Clinton supporter and no fan of Donald Trump. Her opinion of WikiLeaks’ Julian Assange might be clouded by the fact that Putin so openly favors Donald Trump in the election. As does WikiLeaks on Twitter.

Could the fact that both WikiLeaks and the Russian president both want to see a President Trump be proof that WikiLeaks (through Assange) has close ties to Russia? WikiLeaks on Twitter says no.

When it comes to Hillary Clinton’s connection to Russian uranium sales, it does appear that there is truth to that WikiLeaks on Twitter claim. Back in early 2015, The New York Times reported that Hillary (or at least the Clinton Foundation) was making serious money during the time that a deal between Uranium One and Russia was being facilitated.

Reportedly, Hillary Clinton made around $500,000 for a public speaking gig in Moscow related to the Uranium deal, and that Uranium One’s chairman used his family foundation to make donations totaling $2.35 million to the Clinton Foundation between 2009 and 2013.

Ultimately, as WikiLeaks on Twitter alludes, the U.S. State Department (among others) did have to sign off on the deal that put Russia in control of Uranium One. When the deal was approved, Hillary Clinton was leading that department as Secretary of State. Also, as WikiLeaks on Twitter claims, the Uranium One deal did give Russia control of 20 percent of the U.S.’s uranium production capacity.

That means that WikiLeaks on Twitter got at least one fact out of three correct.

The others are much sketchier, especially for an organization that has serious credibility issues, like WikiLeaks and its Twitter feed, which has recently been reported as possibly having been compromised.
