‘Overwatch’: Sombra ARG Characters Artwork Released In Reddit Forums Leak During Blizzcon World Cup Schedule For 2016 [Video]

A new challenger is entering the fray, and we may have gotten a first look at what she looks like.

Overwatch has kicked its hype into a new gear, and it appears that Blizzcon is the culprit. New character Sombra has been teased for quite some time. We’ve seen in-game footage that suggests she would be a new character. We’ve even seen portions of maps that give little detail on how she will be included.

According to a report by Express, artwork of Sombra has been leaked at Blizzcon. The image features the female character, and some don’t appear to be surprised. The hype surrounding the new character is palpable, and Blizzard will certainly be bringing out more information as time goes on. It’s been a while since a character has stirred the ranks of Overwatch. There have been nerfs and buffs all around for the characters, and one can only wonder just how strong Sombra will be.

Overwatch has become quite competitive, and the meta could change if Sombra proves to be effective. The leak is accompanied by more hints at Sombra.

As you can see, the story behind Sombra in Overwatch appears to be big. We’ve seen information on her abilities and skills, leading us to believe that she could possibly be the new overpowered character in the game. There’s been the likes of McCree and Mercy, though recent Blizzard changes have seen them toned down to an acceptable degree.

Whether she’ll be a pure DPS (damage per second) build or be able to play full support will depend on player preference. Will we see an overabundance of Sombra during the game’s initial matches when she is released? Most likely. This isn’t the first time that a trend like this has gone on, however. Ana is also a recent addition to Overwatch, and there are most likely tweaks from Blizzard ready to satisfy fan feedback.
