Tom Cruise Secretly Meets With Suri? Katie Holmes Shares Why Their Daughter Gets ‘Special Thanks’

Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, and their daughter, Suri, once seemed like the cutest family on the planet. The actor and actress were always photographed smiling and cuddling their adorable little girl. But then came the bombshell divorce, after which Katie raised Suri primarily on her own. Now comes a story that Tom, following a period of alleged estrangement, has secretly reunited with the daughter he shares with Holmes.

Cruise has been immersed in the world of movie-making since splitting from Katie, which didn’t leave much time for dad-and-daughter days, much less finding a new romance, pointed out the Daily Mail.

Now, however, Tom has changed his life, both visiting with Suri and finding love again with a British woman, according to a source cited by the media outlet. The source revealed that Cruise reunited with the 10-year-old in June and July, with the latter occasion providing a way for the actor to celebrate his 54th birthday.

During the five days that Suri reportedly spent with Tom, they spent time in the Cotswolds, resided for several days in the village of Bourton-on-the-Water in Gloucestershire, and devoted three days to London. However, the source emphasized that Cruise wanted the reunion with his daughter to be kept extremely secretive, getting his sister Lee Anne DeVette to keep it under the radar.

“Everything was treated very discreetly.”

Although Suri’s nanny and a bodyguard came along, Katie was not present, shared the source, who also revealed that the child is “very important” to Tom and is a “special part of his life.”

The last time that Cruise and Suri were photographed together was in August of 2012. She and Holmes spend time primarily in California and New York City.

However, Gossip Cop, which previously revealed that Cruise had not seen Suri in three years, reports that the story of Tom reuniting with his daughter is not true, telling readers that “nothing has changed.”

Despite the story claiming that Cruise visited with the 10-year-old twice in the past year, Gossip Cop noted that Tom and the daughter he shares with Katie “remain out of contact as they have for years now. ” A representative for Holmes told the media outlet that the reunion story is “false.”

In the wake of these reports of a reunion between dad and daughter, Katie is opening up about what the little girl means to her, telling ET Online that the 10-year-old even influenced her debut as a director in All We Had.

Chronicling the tale of a mom’s relationship with her daughter, the story is one to which “every mom can relate,” summed up Holmes. In addition to directing the film for the first time, Katie plays the starring role as a single mother. The 37-year-old actress revealed that her own relationship with Suri was so helpful that she gave her a “special thanks” at the conclusion of the movie.

“She gets a special thanks for everything, [for] every job I do, because she makes every day great and awesome and better.”

In addition, Holmes shared that she feels she knows herself “better because of her,” so her daughter will “always get a special thanks.”

While Katie is gushing about their daughter, Tom is reportedly finding love again for the first time since splitting from Holmes in 2012. Cruise has become “serious” with his new girlfriend, an insider told Us Weekly.

An unnamed British woman has charmed Tom, and it’s mutual, with Cruise taking her on a date to Bourton-on-the-Water, which is a village in the Cotswolds, reported the media outlet. The couple has taken “bike rides through the countryside,” added the insider, who revealed that his new girlfriend has spent time at Tom’s pad in London.

“[Cruise is] serious about this relationship and wants to make it work.”

In addition to his 10-year-old daughter with Katie, Cruise is the father of two children with his ex-wife Nicole Kidman. Bella is 23, and Connor is 21. But now Tom is looking for some new romance in his life, clarified the insider.

“Tom wants some companionship,” summed up the source.

And it’s reportedly the same for Holmes, with multiple sources telling Us Weekly that as Cruise seeks a new romance, Katie is still together with Jamie Foxx.

“They are for sure still together,” confirmed one of the insiders.
