The 2nd debate between Mitt Romney and Barack Obama has started with a bang. The debate is a town hall format with both candidates fielding questions form the audience, which is made up of undecided voters. Both campaigns promised that their candidates would be more aggressive and go after each other for untruths, and they have not disappointed.

The first question asked of the candidates was how they were going to ensure that students currently in college would have a good job when they get out of college.

Mitt Romney started out by saying that he has a jobs plan to create millions of jobs over the first four years of his administration. He then launched into a scathing attack against President Obama for not working hard enough to create more jobs. President Obama did not miss a beat and went on the offensive against Mitt Romney touting his record of investment in clean energies and his goal of bringing back manufacturing.

The debate then turned to rising gas prices and both candidates jumped right on the topic. Romney attacked the President on oil prices and made the accusation that he has cut leases on Federal land. President Obama answered back that oil production was way up under his Administration. The candidates turned their attention to the Keystone XL pipeline coming in from Canada.

Romney pointed out that President Obama turned down the permit for the pipeline and Romney says he is going to expand it. President Obama answered back that he has approved more pipelines than could wrap around the entire world once.
