Selena Gomez Feels ‘Like Hell’ In Rehab, But Ed Sheeran & Jennifer Aniston Lift Her Spirits
Selena Gomez started off 2016 with praise for her newest music, and her Revival Tour seemed fated to become the highlight of a wonderful year for the pop music princess. But then, with dates remaining on that tour, Selena informed her loyal fans that she was canceling the rest of her concerts because of anxiety and depression linked to lupus, as the Inquisitr reported.
Soon after that announcement, Gomez checked into rehab. And although visits from her friends Ed Sheeran and Jennifer Aniston reportedly lifted her spirits, a new report is revealing that she’s struggling.

The “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” songstress’ friends and family are worried about her, a source told In Touch. After checking into the Brookhaven Retreat in Tennessee, the 24-year-old is now telling those close to her that she “wants to leave” the rehab center or shift to having “outpatient treatment,” revealed the insider.
“Everyone is worried. Selena keeps saying she feels like hell.”
However, the media outlet told readers that she is “expected to stay for a few months,” noting that exiting the women-only treatment facility, does not seem “feasible” right now.
“If anyone knew how bad she was, they’d be in shock,” added the source.
But although she’s feeling down, Gomez reportedly received a lift from two friends, Ed Sheeran and Jennifer Aniston.
When she first met Aniston, Gomez made it clear that she was a fan, and her joy at having Jennifer as a friend was evident in the Instagram caption she posted at the time.
“I have not only been following [Aniston’s] career as a fan since I was 8,…I have gotten to have real conversations with such a real heart, made my entire year,” admitted the singer.
Jennifer, 47, became friends with the 24-year-old music star when their management team introduced them, and the sight of Aniston at the facility where the pop princess currently is residing “really cheered her up,” according to a source cited by OK.
Although the “Hands To Myself” singer is only “allowed a limited number of visitors a day,” Jennifer was permitted to visit Selena, revealed the insider.
“She got the surprise of her life when [Aniston] showed up.”
Describing Jennifer as “incredible [and] supportive.” the source also shared that Aniston “wanted to let her know everyone is rooting for her.”

In addition to Jennifer, another friend who reportedly cheered up Gomez in rehab is Sheeran, who visited her at the treatment facility. Ed and the “Hands To Myself” singer have a mutual friend in Taylor Swift, and it’s Taylor who may have hooked up Sheeran and her best friend, according to En Stars.
Concerning rumors that Ed is dating Selena, however, the media outlet noted that a romance between the two has not been confirmed.
As for previous indications that Sheeran is interested in Gomez, last year the two started out an evening as friends and then seemed to bloom into something more romantic than just the friendship zone, reported ET.
The couple dined at the Sunset Towers Hotel and attended an album release party at Los Angeles hot spot The Nice Guy for “Nobody Love” singer Tori Kelly. Ed and Selena then left the party together.
Also, SugarScape reported that Sheeran and the “Hands To Myself” singer were rumored to be collaborating, and Taylor reportedly made the suggestion that they work together.
“We know that Ed plus pop princess equals actual perfection (see: his Tori Kelly duet ‘I Was Made for Loving You’ and ‘Tattoo’ track for Hilary Duff),” pointed out the media outlet.
“[Swift] had so much success with Ed on her Red album, and thinks he’d be a perfect songwriting partner for Selena,” revealed a source cited by SugarScape.
