Drake, Taylor Swift Romance: Rapper’s Mom Thinks He’s Not Mature Enough To Date Her

Drake’s mother, Sandi Graham, doesn’t believe that her son has what it takes to date someone as classy as Taylor Swift.

Sandi was introduced to Swift earlier this week by Drake when family and friends came out to support the “Too Good” artist at his 30th birthday bash out in West Hollywood, Huffington Post reveals.

Sandi was stunned by Swift’s beauty. Looking at the singer up and down, Drake’s mother could instantly tell so much about Taylor’s character. The “Style” singer presented herself as a very classy woman, wearing a very suitable dress that was considered just right for the event.

Hollywood Life alleges that Drake’s mother would love to see her son date someone like Taylor, who carries herself in a professional and elegant manner, but she knows that her boy has a lot of growing up to do before he can date someone on Swift’s level.

“Dennis and Sandi [Graham] can’t stop talking about Taylor [Swift] and how classy she is,” a source tells the outlet. “They were, like everyone else, in awe of Taylor’s looks, her maturity and her charm [when she showed up to Drake’s party]. To be honest, they’d love to see Drake romantically involved with someone like her, but she’s way too mature for him.”

“They’re his parents and they love him. But they know their son and they know Drake isn’t responsible or levelheaded enough to date a woman like Taylor. They wish he were though. All in all, Drake’s parents were absolutely smitten with Taylor and they can’t wait to see her again.”

Her comments regarding Taylor Swift could almost be seen as a diss aimed at Rihanna, considering the supposed fact that she allegedly seems to hint at the supposed fact that Drake is known to bring home women that are immature themselves.

Making a statement that tells Drake he has to become mature in order to date someone like Taylor definitely gives the impression that Sandi doesn’t make much of her son’s previous relationship with Rihanna, which came to its end just three weeks ago.

Drake’s mother is clearly giving her thumbs of approval if Drake was to ever consider the idea of even just attempting to see whether a relationship could potentially come out of his current friendship status with Swift.

While endless outlets are claiming that Drake and Taylor are dating, sources close to the rapper stress that the two are nothing more than good friends. It just so happens that Sandi happened to be at the birthday bash, and Drake saw no reason why he shouldn’t introduce Swift to his mother. It was nothing more than an innocent gesture.

The 30-year-old is currently in talks to collaborate with Swift for her forthcoming album, which the singer will begin working on later this year. Having found herself in endless scandals this past year, including her feuds with Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Calvin Harris, sources say that Taylor has more than enough material to create a full body of work.

Fans are definitely intrigued to hear the song once it’s been recorded. Could it be a diss track aimed at Kanye and Kim? Nobody just yet, but a song with Drake is definitely expected on the new record, with more information expected once the duo begin working on the project together.
