Britney Spears: Former Nanny Claims The Singer Is Being Emotionally Manipulated

Britney Spears’ former nanny is allegedly set to testify that the pop star is being emotionally manipulated in her court ordered conservatorship. Lourdes Torres reportedly plans to utter shocking details about the singer’s life while testifying in the lawsuit filed by Spears’ former manager, Sam Lutfi.

Lutfi is suing both The X Factor star and her parents for libel, defamation, and breach of contract, Radar Online notes. The lawsuit trial is expected to last approximately three weeks. Lynne and Jamie Spears, and Britney’s fiancé, Jason Trawick, are all expected to take the stand during the hearings, according to the Huffington Post.

A Radar Online source had this to say about Lourdes (Lulu) Torres’ testimony:

“Lulu is going to be called as a witness by Sam Lutfi’s lawyer to testify about what she witnessed when she was a nanny to Britney’s two children, in the months after the conservatorship was put in place in 2008. Lulu will testify that she believes Britney was being emotionally manipulated in the conservatorship and will blow the lid off what was really going on with her. Lulu ended up quitting her job because she was so disturbed by what she saw happening to Britney.”

The nanny reportedly signed a non-disclosure agreement which allegedly prevented her from going public with concerns about the pop star’s well-being. Such agreements do not cover testimony offered in a court room. The source also maintains that Spears is extremely fearful of being required to take the witness stand during the trial, even though the judge in charge of the conservatorship already ruled she cannot be forced to testify. Sam Lutfi’s attorneys are reportedly still considering pushing for the singer to appear as a witness.
