Justin Bieber Told To ‘Stay Far, Far Away’ From Selena Gomez After Sofia Richie Affair Hurt Her?

Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez survived years in a romantic relationship that consisted of loving, leaving, and then loving again. But their on-again off-again romance seemed permanently set to the “off” switch following Justin’s hot and heavy hookup with Sofia Richie. The “Sorry” singer even defended Sofia to his fans on social media, a battle that Selena joined by siding with his fans against the Biebs.

That war of words between the couple, once known as Jelena, combined with the sight of photos showing Bieber canoodling with Richie, is now getting blamed for Gomez’s problems. Moreover, a new report alleges that the “Hands To Myself” singer’s family has ordered Bieber to stay away from her.

In her announcement at the end of August about her decision to take time off and cancel the remaining dates on her “Revival Tour,” Selena told her fans that she was determined to focus on her health, pointed out the Hollywood Gossip.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” she stated. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks, and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

Consequently, added the singer, she had chosen to take time off to focus on her “health and happiness,” thanking her fans for their support while emphasizing her desire to “face this head on to ensure I am doing everything possible to be my best.”

That announcement was followed by the news that Gomez had entered a treatment facility in Tennessee at the end of September. To help lift her spirits, Jennifer Aniston and Ed Sheeran both reportedly visited her there, as the Inquisitr reported.

And now, a new report indicates the alleged reason why the Biebs has been absent from her list of visitors, with the Hollywood Gossip telling readers that Selena’s family “recently reached out to Justin and told him to stay far, far away.” Her family, who reportedly “blames Justin for much of her downward spiral,” allegedly didn’t stop with that order, but elaborated on the ban, according to the media outlet.

“They told him he’s banned from calling, texting, emailing, or visiting her.”

As for why the Biebs is getting the blame, the issues between the “Sorry” singer, 22, and “Kill ‘Em With Kindness” singer, 24, reportedly date back to August, just prior to her announcement about taking time off. At the time, Bieber was dating Richie in a very public romance, and Gomez reportedly was emotionally impacted by the photos of her former boyfriend and Sofia.

OK magazine also reported on the alleged order from Selena’s family to Justin to “stay far, far away” from her.

“They’re hoping he will just erase Selena from his life,” explained a source cited by OK.

A mid-August battle on Instagram with Justin also hurt the pop princess, according to Us Weekly. In response to his anger with his Beliebers over their hostility toward Sofia, Selena recommended that the Biebs not post photos showing his romance with Sofia if he was unable to “handle the hate” from fans. He then accused of her being unfaithful.

“Oh I forgot about You and Zayn?” he reportedly responded, referring to former One Direction member Zayn Malik.

“Selena lost it,” an insider told Us.

“She can be fragile emotionally and Justin is a major factor.”

Despite the hostility from his fans, Justin, 22, and Sofia, 18, made it clear that they were happy during their short, but heated hookup, with photos plastered all over magazines and social media. But the sight of the Biebs so upbeat with Richie took its toll on his former girlfriend, who blames him for her “breakdown,” according to Life & Style.

When Gomez viewed pictures of her ex-boyfriend “looking so happy” with Sofia, “it was really hard for her,” an insider told the media outlet.

“She saw Justin looking so happy and that really sent her into a downward spiral.”

Moreover, the 24-year-old is feeling “backed into a corner” by her famous former boyfriend, added the source.

In Touch also is linking the “Hands To Myself” singer’s problems to Bieber, alleging that her “unhealthy relationship” with the Biebs, lupus, and “constant partying” contributed to what the media outlet’s insider described as her “meltdown.”

Although Justin allegedly attempted to ignore his former girlfriend and focus on Richie, that caused more problems, shared the insider, who revealed that the more he ignored his ex, “the more she freaked out.”

Now that the “Sorry” singer allegedly is banned from even contacting Gomez, is there a possibility that he will reunite with Richie? Sofia recently was spotted at Bieber’s concert in London and that started speculation swirling that the two were hooking up again, noted E News.

However, a source revealed to E! News that Justin and Richie were not actually an “official couple” while admitting that they did hook up.

“They just hooked up and were close friends.”

Bieber is maintaining his “close” friendship with Sofia, added the insider, who shared that Richie is “still kind of annoyed” at how the Biebs “handled a few things.” However, they are still in communication, emphasized the source.

“[Sofia is] not ruling out future possibilities with Justin.”

Although that sounds like the door to hooking up again remains open, Richie’s pal Paris Hilton offered a very different view on how Sofia feels about Bieber.

Sofia does not care about Bieber anymore, according to Hollywood Life, which noted that Paris spoke up for Richie recently. Paparazzi were questioning Sofia at a West Hollywood hot spot, and Hilton took over to defend Richie.

“She’s a beautiful, young teenager who’s single and loving life,” Paris informed the paparazzi about Sofia. “She doesn’t give a f**k about any guys.”
