Katie Holmes Update: Actress And Foxx Still Going Strong Despite Split Rumors

It was reported earlier that Katie Holmes and Jamie Foxx’s secret romance has come to a crashing halt after Foxx reportedly “dumped” Holmes.

The relationship has been a secretive one since its beginning, which sources say was almost three years ago. The reports stated that Katie was ready to go public with the relationship seeing as the media and onlookers are insistent that the relationship is factual. Radar stated that the two were calling it quits quietly over this matter.

Despite these reports by the tabloid that the two have gone their separate ways, both E! News and Us Weekly have countered this report and state that Jamie and Katie are not over, and are in fact “still going strong.” It’s likely in the couple’s situation that they would probably prefer that people believe the Radar version in regard to their relationship.

“Earlier this week, a report suggested that Holmes, 37, and Foxx, 48, ended their hush-hush relationship because he didn’t want to go public with their romance. Multiple sources tell Us that’s not the case. ‘They are for sure still together,’ one insider tells Us.”

Jamie and Katie, as stated have reportedly enjoyed a nearly 3-year relationship and have managed to keep media members and fans guessing for this entire time by throwing all of their track by separately stating that they are nothing more than friends. Of course a number of false stories have come from the speculations. Some such fabrications include Katie and Jamie being engaged, Katie being pregnant and details about a secret wedding. Holmes’ ex-husband, Mission Impossible star Tom Cruise, has even become front and center in the rumor mill in regard to his ex-wife’s relationship with his former costar.

Such rumors about Cruise involved the divorce settlement between Katie and Tom. A tabloid rumor stated that the reason Katie and Jamie were keeping things secretive had to do with an agreement the couple made that indicated Katie could not date publicly until 2017- a decade after the couple’s divorce. This rumor was debunked and is far from truth. However, reasons for the secrecy in the romance likely do have to do with the former couple’s daughter, Suri Cruise. Reports have been made that the secrecy is to protect the little beauty from the media circus that would ensue.

E! News has recently shared that Katie and Jamie have definitely been linked over the years and that they are keeping knowledge of their relationship to their innermost circle of friends.

“E! News has been told that the pair aren’t keeping their relationship status a secret from their friends, but that must refer to the most inward of inner circles. Not only is only the slightest bit of information about where they go and what they do together available, but they’ve only been photographed in the same place (after Katie’s marriage to Tom Cruise ended, that is) twice. Once they shared the stage at a benefit in New York and another time they were kinda exhibiting PDA in a grainy photo taken in a recording studio.”

As the publication states, friends of the stars share that they are definitely the smoothest of operators when it comes to keeping the relationship under wraps. The most recent report of the two being spotted together was at a Barbra Streisand concert at which Foxx performed alongside the songstress. Katie and Jamie reportedly hung out in his dressing room for quite some time before Katie left separately. Leading up to the news breaking that Jamie and Katie were secretly dating, back in March of 2015, the actress reportedly had been spotted disguising herself while on her way to meet with the Collateral star. They are certainly going to great lengths to keep this romance under wraps. The question is, how long before the two go public?
