Bubba the Love Sponge wasn’t too happy to find out that Hulk Hogan had filed a lawsuit against him for releasing a sex tape of the wrestler with his ex-wife Heather Clem.

The Sponge, real name Todd Clem, said that the famous wrestler was in on the stunt the entire time and shouldn’t be playing the victim.

Clem said that Hogan “brainwashed” him into letting the wrestler sleep with his now ex-wife Heather Clem. Bubba the Love Sponge also claims that Hogan was not “secretly taped” and that he may have been behind the sex tape’s release.

Clem, who is now a radio show host, said on his show:

“You can’t play the victim like that … He’s a one-way piece of crap who doesn’t care about anyone but himself. (Hulk Hogan) is the ultimate, lying showman … At the end of the day, I can’t even comment on the validity … [Hulk] could have had something to do with the leak of it.”

Hogan filed a lawsuit earlier this week against the talk show host and Gawker Media, who first published the sex tape, for $100 million. Hogan claims that the tape “violated his privacy” and that Bubba the Love Sponge and his ex-wife Heather Clem secretly filmed him having sex so that they could use the tape to retire one day.

On the tape, Bubba can be heard saying: “If we ever did want to retire, all we’d have to do is use this footage.”

Bubba denies, however, that Hulk wasn’t in on the scam.
