November 18 is just around the corner, and author J. K. Rowling has just teased the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them book cover for the official screenplay on Twitter. The Fantastic Beasts book cover features the movie logo in embossed gold lettering surrounded by artistic renderings of many of the creatures that protagonist Newt Scamander encounters on his journey.

Fans looking to order the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them book adaptation of the screenplay can do so here on Amazon, or wait to see if their local bookstore will be throwing a midnight release party.

Of course, a book version of Fantastic Beasts already exists in print, but it is not a faithful representation of the upcoming movie. The original Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was a fictional textbook written by J. K. Rowling set in the Harry Potter universe. The book was published to support Comic Relief, a British charity, and features handwritten notes by Harry, Ron, and Hermione.

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie news continues as multiple media outlets have been reporting that the predicted box office haul for its first weekend will be $75 million. Comic Book Movie was skeptical in their report on the topic.

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them book, on the other hand, was not a global smash on the same level as the Harry Potter novels. It was beloved by Harry Potter fans, but it did not cross over to reach mainstream appeal. Additionally, the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them movie will only be the first part of the story. The studio has plenty of time to build excitement.

The first Fantastic Beasts movie will definitely need to bring in new fans, as J. K. Rowling has confirmed that the film series will consist of five movies. The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them release dates for the first three movies have been revealed: Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 2 is coming in 2018, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3 has a release date in late 2020.

“There are a few films where [when] they’re on the television, I just can’t turn them off, they’re just so comforting; and any Harry Potter series qualifies as one of those films. It’s just such a beautiful and immersive world, that pays due respect to human emotions. I would be a liar if I said being in a trailer where that score kicks in didn’t get me excited. I’m 40 and I shouldn’t say such things.”

The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them release date in the United States will be November 18, with most of Europe and some Asian countries getting the movie a day earlier. The Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them release date for China will be November 25, which will play a huge role in determining the film’s international box office haul as China is one of the largest movie markets in the world.
