Clijsters Tops Li, Moves On To U.S. Open Semifinals

Flushing Meadows, NY (AHN) – Kiim Clijsters took care of Na Li in two sets; 6-2, 6-4 Tuesday to advance to the semifinals of the U.S. Open.

Juan Martin del Potro handled Juan Carlos Ferrero 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 on the men’s side.

Still to come Tuesday is a match between Rafael Nadal and Gael Monfils, seeded No. 3 and No. 13, respectively.

On the women’s side, No. 2 seed Serena Williams takes on No. 10 Flavia Pennetta.
