Kim Kardashian Tired Of Hiding: ‘KUWTK’ Star Returns To Work

Kim Kardashian has since grown tired of living the low-profile life since she was robbed at gunpoint at her apartment in Paris. She is slowly making the steps to return to the public eye. Kim Kardashian has also returned to filming for the upcoming season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, as sources say that she’s gotten “bored” with hiding.

Kim Kardashian, 36, is reportedly doing better and plans to celebrate Halloween with her family after her traumatic robbery back in October, multiple sources have confirmed to Us Weekly.

“Kim is starting to feel a little bit better and like she wants to get out and really live again,” one of the alleged sources told the outlet. “She is excited about Halloween with her kids. She is planning on going trick-or-treating with Kourtney [Kardashian] and the cousins.”

Sources have since confirmed to Hollywood Life that she plans to celebrate Halloween with North West, 3, and Saint West, 10 months, inside their home. She has the house decorated and changed her mind on taking the kids trick-or-treating since they live in a gated community.

The starlet has been keeping a low-profile ever since she was tied up, locked inside her bathroom, and robbed at gunpoint inside her Hotel de Pourtales by five men dressed up as policemen. Kardashian has made very little public outings other than her recent sighting in Beverly Hills with BFF Jonathan Cheban on Monday. And on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, Kardashian was seen attending husband Kanye West’s Saint Pablo concerts.

A camera crew has been seen following the couple around as KUWTK has resumed filming. Kim has also since returned to work, but is still maintaining that low profile, says another source. Kim plans to share less of her personal life, especially on social media.

“She is still laying low but has been filming a little bit. Things are going to be different for her going forward, but she is taking small steps and wanting to get her life back on track. Taking time off has been really good for her. She doesn’t really want to travel yet but she does want move past this. Time is really healing her wounds. Kim spent almost a month completely indoors and for someone who goes from having a busy life to canceling everything, that’s a huge change and she does want to resume her life. It will be slow steps. The eventual goal is to get back to life as normal.”

Other sources have told People that Kim Kardashian is starting to get “bored” of the low-key life she started after the Paris robbery. She was glad to be back out in the spotlight at one of Kanye West’s concerts earlier on this week. Though Kim is growing a bit tired of the low-profile she has maintained, she wants to get back out there and start traveling again.

“Kim was happy to attend Kanye’s concert [Tuesday] night,” a source told the outlet. “She is starting to seem a bit bored. She wants to make plans for more outings and maybe even a trip. Things are slowly getting back to a new normal.”

She has since maintained her low profile by refusing to post on social media and canceling all public appearances. Kardashian has agreed to gradually resume filming on the E! series, added a second source.

“Kim still prefers to lay low,” another source said. “She has filmed at home with her sister and Kris on a few occasions. She has been able to pick when she wants to film and how much. There is still no pressure.”

As Kim Kardashian makes a slow move back to the public eye, her sisters have continued to post and promote on social media and attend public events. But, of course, there has been an increase in security for the family, added a third insider.

“This scared everyone. They’re not taking chances. It was really a scary situation for the entire family and it’s just not worth it to put themselves out there unnecessarily right now.”

Keeping Up With the Kardashians airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on E! It is not clear, however, if Kim Kardashian will actively promote the show in public and on social media with her family.
