Jana Duggar Stuck In ‘Weird’ Life As Jill, Jinger, And Jessa Hit News By Getting Engaged, Getting Married, And Having Babies: Older Sister Shuns Instagram

Jana Duggar might be the unsung hero of the Duggars. While the rest of her siblings are eager to marry and have babies, the 26-year-old Duggar has remained with her family to take care of them as they go through scandals (involving Josh Duggar), getting engaged, organizing weddings, and giving birth to their first baby. But Jana can’t seem to shake the fact that she wants these things for herself as well.

On top of it, being single with no married life in sight is getting harder for her to bear. On the most recent episode of Jill and Jessa Counting On, Jana was seen getting into a small fight with Jessa, the most recently married Duggar sister.

“On Tuesday’s episode, Jessa gets in on the planning, and it seems she’s no fan of the progress Jana has made on the project,” reports the Hollywood Gossip.

“I just don’t think it has any connection to the rest of the house,” Jessa reportedly complained to Jana.

“There’s a disagreement,” Jana said. “I like random.”

It also seems as if many other Duggars are taking Jana’s presence for granted as they live their own lives. In the last episode, Anna, the wife of Josh Duggar, whose scandal got 19 Kids and Counting show canceled, even talked about how having Jana around the hard times was the most helpful thing.

“Anna got super emotional talking about her sister-in-law Jana being such a support for her throughout the last year and a half,” reports the Stir.

“[Jana] will make an amazing wife one day, but selfishly right now, I’m so thankful I’ve had her as a shoulder to cry on,” Anna said to the camera.

The 26-year-old Duggar has had experience of getting almost engaged. She was rumored to be getting involved with Tim Tebow, a professional football player, and Jonathan Steiger. But nothing came out of those rumors, and she went back to caring for her large and extensive family.

“There have been different guys who have come along and asked, but they haven’t been, I don’t know, the right one,” she revealed, according to Radar Online. “It can be tempting, like, ‘Oh, I really want to be married,’ because in those moments, your siblings that are married and have little ones are going on dates and doing their thing. It’s like this weird in-between stage. I’m not a younger one, but I’m not an older, married one with kids.”

“That is so hard to say,” she continued said. “I don’t know. I don’t really know what the next five years look like. I guess in some ways, you have hopes and dreams.”

And it sounds like her father Jim Bob Duggar still has hope that she will get engaged and married like Jessa and Jill have done.

“Jana is one of the prettiest girls in the world and one of the sweetest girls,” he said according to People Magazine. “There have been a lot of guys who have been interested in her. I have gone to hear about each one and so far, she hasn’t felt that is the way the Lord is leading.”

Unlike Jill, Jinger, and Jessa, Jana has not accepted the virtues of Instagram and how it can help fans get interested in her. Maybe the reason why the 26-year-old Duggar has not opened an account is because she does not like the news spotlight that is cast on her family. By keeping the cameras away from her, Jana has the possibility of living a much freer life.

Even on the family Instagram, Jana rarely appears, which gives space to Jinger, who also does not have an Instagram. The last time she was seen on the Duggar Family Instagram was when she was featured with her twin.
