Shadow McClaine’s last contact with loved ones was on Sept. 2. The Kentucky woman had reportedly texted with her mother at approximately 7:07 p.m., that night — a text that stated that she was driving at the time. She was supposed to be house-sitting for friends that weekend but never made it to her destination. Since her mysterious disappearance, there has been absolutely no activity on her phone or her bank account. Her car was eventually found abandoned in a parking lot in Nashville.

Over the course of the past several weeks that she’s been missing, some disturbing information has come up about Shadow’s life. Via her public Facebook page, before her disappearance, the missing woman claimed that someone had cut her brake lines. She implied on her social media that her former husband might have been involved in the harassment she was receiving. It should be noted, however, that her former husband has not been identified as one of the persons of interest taken into police custody, at this time.

Clarksville Now reports that Shadow McClaine’s former husband, Jamal McCray, was arrested earlier this month, however. At this time, it’s not clear if Jamal’s arrest — which was on Oct. 6 — is related to the disappearance of the missing soldier.
