‘Fuller House’ Season 2 Will Be Full Of Holiday Episodes: See The Sneak Peek Pics

Fuller House will be full of fall holidays. The second season of the Netflix comedy will feature at least four holiday-themed episodes. TV Line posted pics of the Tanner-Fuller festivities as well as some new spoilers for the Full House spin-off’s upcoming episodes.

During a chatfest on The View, Fuller House star Candace Cameron Bure (D.J. Fuller on the show) described Season 2 of the Netflix comedy as being “very holiday-themed” and she teased new episodes that will be set around Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s Eve. The new sneak peek pics show a Halloween scene featuring Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) and her ex-husband Fernando (Juan Pablo Di Pace) dressed as I Love Lucy icons, Lucy and Ricky.

There is also a Tanner family shot at a very crowded Thanksgiving table and a cute Christmas morning snap of the supersized clan wearing matching holiday pajamas.

Another photo features Full House veterans Bob Saget (Danny Tanner), John Stamos (Uncle Jesse) and Dave Coulier (Joey Gladstone) doing a champagne toast around a firepit.

The Thanksgiving episode will mark the first Fuller House scenes the male veterans will all appear in together since the spin-off’s inaugural reunion in Season 1.

In an interview with E! News, Fuller House star and executive producer John Stamos said fans can expect several appearances by “the legacy cast” during the upcoming season of the show.

“We’re adding some fun characters and the legacy cast—that’s what they’re calling us—we’re going to be spread out through the season,” Stamos revealed. “There are a few guest stars that could be surprises for everybody that I’m working on, but as far as the show, we’re just in a better place to make a good, solid sitcom now.”

TV Line reports that for Fuller House Season 2, fans will finally get to meet Joey Gladstone’s family when they visit from Las Vegas. In addition, D.J. will reunite with recast versions of her high school boyfriend Nelson Burkhard (now played by Hal Sparks instead of original actor James Marsden) and her high school frenemy, Kathy Santoni (originally played by Anne Marie McEvoy).

Of course, the biggest scoop is the addition of Kimmy Gibbler’s brother, Jimmy (played by Adam Hagenbuch). Rumors are circulating that Jimmy could be Stephanie Tanner’s (Jodie Sweetin) new love interest. According to E! News, the Jimmy character will have a significant recurring guest role in the new season. In the Halloween episode, Jimmy and Stephanie team up to scare Kimmy’s daughter Ramona (Soni Bringas).

In an interview with Glamour, Sweetin revealed that her character would finally get a boyfriend.

“Stephanie has a love interest this season,” Sweetin told Glamour. “I think the fans are really going to love it.”

Sweetin also told Entertainment Tonight that Full House fans would have some fun with her character’s love connection.

“Who it is, is a really fun surprise,” Sweetin said of her Fuller House boyfriend. “So I think fans are going to enjoy that. The audience [at the taping] seemed to really love it. There could be a connection to [someone from] Full House.”

That sure sounds like it could be a Gibbler!

Fuller House Season 2 will also feature several guest stars that will take fans back to the heyday of the original show. Boy band New Kids On The Block will make a cameo on Fuller House as will actor Alan Thicke, who played Jason Seaver, the father of Cameron Bure’s real life brother, Kirk Cameron, on the ’80s sitcom Growing Pains.

Season 2 of Fuller House will stream on Netflix starting Friday, Dec. 9
