Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt Face Reconciliation Rumors As He Struggles Without His Kids

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are facing rumors of a possible reconciliation, but so far, there’s been no confirmation of any such thing. Instead, the drama between them seems to be getting more and more complicated.

According to the latest report regarding Brad Pitt and his split from Angelina Jolie, it is noted that the 52-year-old actor is struggling to cope without his kids by his side.

“The longer this goes on, the harder it is for [Brad Pitt],” a source told Woman’s Day, via Yahoo Lifestyle on October 24. “He feels like his kids are slipping out of his grasp, and it’s breaking his heart… He spends all day and half the night calling and texting people, asking for help and advice.”

Following their split in September, Angelina Jolie was awarded temporary custody of Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8. In her divorce documents, the 41-year-old actress requested full physical custody and cited Pitt’s possible anger issue, which she claimed may have been intensified by marijuana and possible alcohol consumption.

As TMZ reported at the time of Jolie’s filing, the actress requested Brad Pitt be given visitation to his kids, but when it came to physical custody, Jolie confirmed in her documents that she was not open to joint. Instead, she was only in agreement with joint legal custody.

As the outlet explained, Jolie’s decision to file for divorce was based on her issues with Brad Pitt’s parenting. In fact, she was said to be “extremely upset” with Pitt’s parenting methods and “fed up” with his use of weed and possibly alcohol.

“What’s happened has really hit home for [Brad Pitt]. He realises his children are the most important things in his life. He doesn’t care about his career or anything else anymore – being with his kids is all that matters to him now,” the Women’s Day source continued.

“He’d do anything to see his kids,” the source revealed. “[Brad Pitt’s] view is that he will improve his chances by behaving like a model citizen. [His] whole life is on hold until he gets his kids back. He truly can’t say sorry enough.”

After weeks apart, Brad Pitt recently enjoyed a short visit with his children, but his oldest son, Maddox, chose to sit out. Then, a short time later, Pitt and Maddox came face-to-face after spending about a month apart. During the visit, a therapist was present due to allegations against Pitt that claim the actor got physical with the teenager during a flight in September.

As the outlet explained, Maddox was still “mad at his dad” at the time of the first visit, which is why he chose to stay with his mother.

As Brad Pitt’s custody battle with Angelina Jolie continues, she and the kids were recently questioned by the FBI for three hours at their Malibu home in regard to the alleged plane dispute between Pitt and Maddox. During questioning, the FBI attempted to uncover details about the incident as part of their official investigation.

“[The FBI is] continuing to gather facts and will evaluate whether an investigation at the federal level will be pursued,” a rep said.

Weeks ago, it was reported that the FBI would not be opening an investigation against Brad Pitt because “Maddox suffered no injuries and some witnesses on the jet say Brad’s contact with the boy was inadvertent.”
