Jennifer Aniston Doesn’t Actually Care About Brad Pitt And Angelina Jolie’s Divorce

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt have faced reunion rumors since Angelina Jolie filed for divorce on September 19, but does the actress really care about her ex-husband’s failed marriage? According to one of her closest friends, the answer to that question is “No.”

During a recent interview with Grazia magazine, Chelsea Handler spoke out against the ongoing rumors regarding Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt and said it was absolutely ridiculous to think that Aniston would be spending time thinking about Pitt and Jolie’s split.

After calling Jolie a “f***ing lunatic” after news of her split from Pitt last month, Handler gave her thoughts on Jennifer Aniston’s non-reaction to the couple’s impending divorce.

“It’s so stupid and pathetic,” Handler said of Jennifer Aniston being dragged into the split between them, via a report by the Daily Mail on October 25. “As if Jen cares – she doesn’t care.”

Handler went on to tell the magazine that it was “ridiculous” that the former Friends actress was being tied into the ongoing reports and rumors about Pitt and Jolie and why they may have split. As for her comment about Jolie being a lunatic, Handler claimed she was simply voicing what many others were thinking about the actress.

As fans of Jennifer Aniston will recall, she was married to Pitt when he was cast alongside Jolie in 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith. However that didn’t stop Jolie from falling in love with the actor on set. Jolie also wasn’t deterred by Billy Bob Thornton’s fiance, Laura Dern, when she infamously struck up a romance with him while Dern was out of town for work.

At the time that Jolie and Pitt’s romance began, Jolie was quickly labeled as a husband stealer, but as time went on, she seemed to prove herself as a respectable woman as she adopted three children, Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, and Zahara, 11, and welcomed three additional children of her own, daughter Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8. Now, however, the couple is in the midst of a divorce and custody battle which has been plagued by allegations of child abuse.

As Pitt and Jolie continue to be faced with rumors, Jennifer Aniston and her current husband, Justin Theroux, whom she married in August 2015, have also faced rumors in recent months. In fact, just weeks before Pitt and Jolie’s marriage came to an end, Jennifer Aniston was said to be expecting her first child with Theroux.

After traveling to the Bahamas for a short vacation, Jennifer Aniston was photographed in a bikini showing off what appeared to be a baby bump. However, a short time after the photos hit the web, her pregnancy was denied and ultimately, Jennifer Aniston chose to address the false reports with an open post for The Huffington Post.

“It was just so nice for her to finally respond to it. It doesn’t matter how famous or rich or wealthy you are, you’re still able to get your feelings hurt,” Handler explained of Jennifer Aniston’s decision to go public with her statement.

“We are complete with or without a mate, with or without a child. We don’t need to be married or mothers to be complete. We get to determine our own ‘happily ever after’ for ourselves,” Jennifer Aniston wrote in her post.

At the time of the pregnancy rumors, Jennifer Aniston’s age of 47 was pulled into question as many believed she was running out of time to conceive.
