John Mayer And Katy Perry Go On A Date In New York

Katy Perry and John Mayer appear to have re-ignited their romance after the couple went on a date in New York City on Sunday night.

The pair have had a tumultuous few months since the singer finalized her divorce from the comedian Russell Brand. They visited the Pearl Restaurant before heading out to Soho House where they met up with several mutual acquaintances.

Perry appeared to be in high spirits in a swanky, long dress and fashionable trilby as the group vacated the restaurant. However, John looked less impressed and seemed to be trying to remain covert as he slumped his head down in a denim shirt.

Perry and Mayer got together in August, but, then earlier this month, rumors began to circulate that they had permanently split after John had started to cool their relationship. The “Fireworks” singer had even been seen out on the town with Mayer sparking hearsay that she was now single again.

Reports have also emerged that Katy and John met up on Saturday evening at Hotel Chantelle in the Big Apple after she had performed at Comedy Central’s Night Of Too Many Stars. Perry’s pal, Mia Moretti, was performing as a DJ at the event, but she apparently left on her own with Mayer despite a large group of her friends being in attendance.

Perry has been seen with several men since she split with Brand, which has included the guitarist from British band Florence And The Machine, Rob Ackroyd, and the male model Baptiste Giabiconi.
