Hulk Hogan is suing long time best friend Bubba the Love Sponge for what he calls a betrayal of their friendship. Hogan claims that Bubba knowingly taped him having sex with Bubba’s wife Heather Clem so he could profit from the tape at a later time.

According to TMZ, Hulk Hogan is filing the lawsuit in Florida court where he will allege that the tape was an invasion of privacy. Hogan also names Heather as a defendant since she “conspired” to allow the filming during her sexual liaison with Hogan.

You may recall that right after Hulk Hogan leaves the room, Bubba enters and tells his wife:

“If we ever did want to retire, all we’d have to do is use this footage.”

Hulk Hogan has since ended his friendship with Bubba the Love Sponge. Hogan has revealed in several interviews that hearing Bubba’s comments at the end the tape made him sick to his stomach.

Hogan is also allegedly preparing a federal lawsuit against Gawker Media after the company’s Gawker.com web property posted a one minute preview clip from the vide.

The Hulk Hogan sex tape is definitely not the most flattering we have seen to date. At one point, he checks his messages to see if his son called. In another moment of disgust, Hogan claims about being stuffed from a large meal prior to his sexual tryst.

Hogan was still married at the time of the sexual encounter but has seen been divorced in what was a highly publicized split.
